Martin House Brewing’s Jeopardy! Potent Potable

Published January 12, 2026

Jeopardy! Bar League brings the game show’s biggest fans and bar trivia players together to experience America’s Favorite Quiz Show® in real time with their friends. So when you have that much brand power packed into a game, how do you make it even more fun?

You hand them a Potent Potable, of course.

As Geeks Who Drink, we like to think of ourselves as experts on that particular subject—but someone else who knows a thing or two is Ice Cole, the general manager of Martin House Brewing in Fort Worth, TX. The venue is constantly putting out new drinks, limited-time offerings that bring their locals coming back week after week. So when they launched Jeopardy! Bar League in December, they knew exactly how they wanted to commemorate the occasion.

Martin House Brewing’s current spin on the Potent Potable is a 5% hard seltzer—an ocean blue concoction with coconut flavoring. It’s draft only and, ever since it’s been added to the menu, patrons have been crushing it.

Having a Jeopardy! special on the menu has two major benefits for the business. First, it gives folks a no-brainer order during game time Wednesday nights. (Obviously if I’m here to play Jeopardy! Bar League, I’m gonna want that Jeopardy! drink.) But Potent Potable is also available all week long, which acts as a natural, in-house promotion for the game.

“We do family days on the weekend,” Cole explains, “and [the drink] is pretty popular then. When a bunch of people are walking around with a bright blue drink, it gets your attention.”

And if coconut isn’t your favorite? Just hang in there. Martin House Brewing may change up the taste and recipe over the coming weeks, but the Potent Potable isn’t going anywhere—and for now, neither is Jeopardy! Bar League.

The game has been a hit with regulars and newcomers alike, often making Wednesdays a standing room only occasion. Their game host, Reagan, lights up the venue and, rather than “settling in,” Cole says she’s taking the program and running with it. It’s an electric way to bring trivia back to the venue for the first time since the pandemic.

Want to get a taste of Potent Potable for yourself? Visit Martin House Brewing in Fort Worth, TX, and play Jeopardy! Bar League on Wednesdays at 7PM.
