Geeking Out with The Drew Barrymore Show

Geeks Who Drink is officially geeking out. Like, really geeking out. How many people get to say that they’re working on a bunch of trivia for the Drew Barrymore and her team?

Starting this week, we’re teaming up with The Drew Barrymore Show to celebrate all things pop culture. The hit daytime talk show is already heading into their seventh season, with new episodes premiering on September 14. We’re starting the party early with some Drew-inspired trivia, movie nostalgia, and special events coming to a bar near you.

Take a scroll through Drew’s filmography and you’ll see some of the round titles we’ve got coming up in the next few weeks. Pub quiz will still be general knowledge trivia, but with the life and optimism of Hollywood’s sweetheart at…well, at heart! Whether you’re an expert on ’80s sci-fi, ’90s rom-com classics, or 2000s action-comedy blockbusters, pub-goers can test their knowledge on themes paying homage to legendary films like E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Never Been Kissed, 50 First Dates, and Charlie’s Angels. (We’ll leave it to you to brainstorm what kind of bonkers round we’ve cooked up for Scream.) Even more exciting, on September 14 we’ll be hosting dedicated theme nights in select major cities. These full-length, Drew-inspired quizzes will dive deep into pop culture spanning the 1980s through the 2000s—the golden eras that defined Drew’s incredible career as a child star, Hollywood leading lady, and pioneering producer. We’ll even have some super special prizes to celebrate the premiere of The Drew Barrymore Show’s latest season!
