Mission Statement: Did you know, youth are spending half as much time outdoors as 20 years ago? Blue Sky Fund is working to change that. We are on a mission to provide transformational experiences for 2,000+ Richmond area youth through outdoor education and adventure. We help youth from under-resourced areas across Richmond, VA to improve academic achievement, especially in the sciences, by engaging them in active outdoor education. Additionally, we increase environmental identity through intentional connection with nature, supporting students as they expand horizons, increase confidence, and build collaboration skills.
