Mission statement “Children in foster care start off behind, we catch them up.” WHIT Stands for Weekly Hands-On Independent Tutor.

Money will be used to help us continue to keep our program running so we can continue to provide free tutoring to children in foster care and help them reach their full academic potential. Our tutors sometimes need manipulatives and resources to conduct the tutoring sessions, we have to have staff to help recruit tutors and universities and to keep track of data, also we have to have all of our tutor’s background checked.
