Mission statement: Cheer DC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit made up of dedicated volunteers who use the sport of cheerleading to raise spirits, awareness, and funds in support of the LGBTQ+ community. We’re volunteers first, cheerleaders second, and advocates always.
The money is going to: Rainbow Families, our primary beneficiary this season! Rainbow Families supports, educates and connects lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) families, parents and prospective parents by offering a wide variety of education programs, support groups, opportunities to connect and more.
