What are they?
Our theme quizzes follow our classic seven-round, two-hour, multimedia format—but, ya know, they’re all about a single subject. With 15 years as the trivia industry leaders, we’ve created a catalog of surefire winners that we’re adding to every month. Oh, and we’ve designed our themes from the ground up to be an immersive, FOMO-inducing experience. Run correctly, they’re a great marketing tool you can use to drive new traffic to your bar, and convert new customers.
So the content is solid?
Yep! Each quiz is written, edited, and fact-checked by people who have actually seen the material. Because of this, our round names buzz with inside jokes, our questions cover all the exciting bits, and our answers are specific enough to satisfy even the most hardcore fans.
What’s so immersive?
We’re giving you more than just questions. We’re sending you hosts with on-point playlists, because there’s nothing like singing “Under the Sea” with a bar full of Disney nerds. And because atmosphere matters, each theme comes with a subject-specific list of tips and tricks to help you plan the big event. You’ll get ideas for costumes and on-theme drinks. Hosting a Star Wars theme? Baby Yoda martinis are instantly Instagram-able!
What about promotions?
We got you! Not only will we send you a branded, theme-specific batch of social media ads, we’ll also mail you physical posters to hang in your bar – as long as you book a month in advance. We’re also adding our a la carte themes into the main GeeksWhoDrink.com venue search results, and posting the theme schedule to our main Facebook page and regional pages (where applicable).
Sweet! Anything else I need to know?
The one golden rule of theme quiz is we do NOT allow bars to book a theme on the same night as their regular weekly quiz as it alienates your regulars. We strongly encourage running themes on Saturday or Sunday afternoons. And to make them super-special, we suggest themes should be run once a month AT MOST. Also, while we’ll try to get your regular host if requested, we can’t guarantee they’ll be available or that they’re into the topic you selected.
