This ain't your Momma's President's Day

Welcome quiz-kids! This week we celebrated Not-My-President's Day here at G Street Wunderbar. With the weather and the holiday, it was a slow night for the bar, but we still got a solid showing for the Quiz. We had 2 regular teams, as well as 3 folks who just kinda showed up and wanted to play. All in all, a pretty nice night.

We started things off with a Round 1 about feelings and emotions, and the scores definitely showed it. I guess we all need to get in touch with our inner feelings and emotions... No? Just me? Okay.. I'll add that to my therapy list... Annnyways... Moving right along into our first audio round... Round 2 was an audio round filled with singers doing weird vocal fills during songs. That's really all there is to say about it. Round 3 was technically about 411, and saying whether something was more or less than 411...But we skipped that round to keep the pace of things a bit light.

Coming back from the first scoring break, we had some very broad score margins. Which is okay. Anyways, Round 4 was totally NOT about the Goonies... Except...That it was basically only about The Goonies...Except that none of the questions had anything to do with the movie... But like... they all referenced things from the movie...So basically about The Goonies. This week's visual round celebrates the 30th Birthday of Ellen Page, by featuring a bunch of movies where she plays way below her age. Round 6 was a helluva round all about plagues, epidemics, and pandemics. Because, yes, there is a difference apparently.

For the final leg of the Quiz-race, we had an audio round all about drawn out last words from movies. And the one thing that was super apparent was that all of these scenes need some more upbeat music. Just sayin. Round 8 was Random Knowledge as per usual, and it kicked some folks' asses.

Your Winners:
1st Place- Who Hasn't Wanted to Get Rid of Their Cousins
2nd Place- Tupperware Royalty
3rd Place- Highly Handicapped.

Thanks to everyone who came out this week!
