Nice job last night everyone!  Easily some of the best and most creative team names I've seen in awhile.  Which isn't necessarily a compliment to the team names last night but more indicative of how boring and terrible they've been the last few months.  SHAME *ding-ding *ding-ding  SHAME *ding-ding *ding-ding.  In fact the more I think about it, the team names weren't actually that good.  There were just a lot of portmanteau's.  Which, while clever, are kinda lazy.  Now, you didn't all do a shameful shameful job.  I did enjoy Jon Snow Wore The Black Better Than Rachel Dolezal.  Topical

Nice work tonight, people! I dunno why y’all are still sitting inside but it was nice to see your smiling faces. Good work to Van Go for a good chug off win but Michael Jackson put up a good fight. As you can see, Butter’s [sic] only won by 1 point so it was a tight race. well played, all. In the first round every team got at least 7 points! How did you like my singing, by the way? I’ve been practicing with my brand new Disney cassettes in the car.   You should check out “Juice it Up.” It’s one of those things where some jackass in a board room got away

Wow, guys! We came so close to breaking the record number of teams tonight. I also think I broke the record for hosting time per capita. Congrats to our tied first place teams Ridin’ Nerdy (yeah, Weird Al!) and America for tying twice tonight. Evenly matched. Their final tiebreaker question was even really close. But in the end Ridin’ took home the honor and broke America’s streak. Maybe next time, guys.   I went to the Rose Bowl when Penn State was playing USC. The USC fans are the worst. They called us ugly nerds. It was like sitting through a football

Tough night! You guys were good teams any got totally stumped. One team got every yes or no question exactly wrong. Rounds 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 had no perfect scores. That’s pretty damn rare! Foursome got the perfect round 1 and Mojo got the perfect round 7. We also had some pretty tame Caitlyn Jenner team names, which is nice I guess. I accidentally made racial a team name that was not meant to be racial and that was quite fun, wasn’t it? So are you guys excited about the addition of Jason Derulo on SYTYCD? I sure am. I’m also excited that Mary Murphy doesn’t have to make train noises this summer. That

I think that was a pretty fun night all around. I got a shot in honor of someone’s 21st birthday, but not from the birthday party (thanks Slutettes!), and we got free beer samples, and you were a good crowd. I don’t think I even got heckled at all tonight. Thanks guys! Eight lucky teams walked away with prizes and even more of you with pint glasses. I’d say you had fun too. Round 1 was pretty good and we didn’t even have a “Major [something]” joke. By the way, isn’t TJ Maxx the best of its kind? I just got a $6 dress there. I’ll wear it next time. Round 2 was great for me. I enjoyed

Well, that was interesting? Did you miss it? Too bad because you missed the best quiz night ever. At least for me it was the most memorable. I finally got my dream of an attentive quiet audience and I had to say something I didn’t want anyone to hear.  Let’s talk about you guys though. Mic Drop and Ima Let You had a great sudden death, tying a second time with different correct answers. They both got an almost perfect round 2 but only Ima Let You used their joker on that round! Which means Mic Drop kinda killed it except for being dumb enough to waste the joker.

If You Can Hear My Voice...
Quizler

Another night with a lively crowd! On Thursday mornings I always sound like an old diner waitress. It’s rough but I appreciate you guys all coming out and having a good time. No Fetus dominated tonight but There is No Team! actually beat them on round 8 and were the only team to get all the visuals. If those teams mixed it up a bit they’d be unstoppable. Whiskey Tango is that one team to watch out for because when they have the right numbers and remember to joker they are always ranked high.  When I took an international flight this winter I watched about 217 movies that I mostly forgot about.

What a great crowd tonight, guys! It must be the weather opening you all up after a long winter but it seemed like everyone sure had fun. Shake it Off stayed on top all night thanks to a joker in a 15 point round 2—nice work! Psychos had 14 in round 2 but had to dance to come in second thanks to Mojo Hojo’s solid night. The latter would’ve had it if they’d used their joker in round 2. Life is rough. The dance off was pretty great, though and you all had your say for the winners, but we know you were biased. Good work to both teams. I knew a guy in college who’s nickname was “Cap”

Happy Earth Day, y’all! I saw a man flick his cigarette out of his car today and almost lost my shit. Most days I would lose my shit anyway but it’s just especially bad on Earth Day. C’mon! It seems like a lot of people were out celebrating tonight. We had a great group at the Stone Church though. It’s going to be sad next week without Jaime but maybe the rest of you will have a better chance of winning. She was always on top of those Babysitter Club questions and old song questions. We’ll miss you, Jaime! Congrats to So Hard and Mojo Hojo for both scoring over 80 points to tie and then killing the sudden death round.

Ok so it’s snowing but not the good kind of soft, dry snow that you can blow off your car with a light breath. The kind that, no matter which direction you’re facing, is always in your face and under your hood and so so wet that the tops of your boots soak through to your socks. It seems like we had only good snow this winter until now. But I have to say it’s nice to see the snow again. I feel a bit like I have Stockholm syndrome but I do love the snow and I’m worried that next year we won’t get any so we have to appreciate it while we have it. The best thing that happened to me this week was when I was skiing and halfway down the mountain a guy on skis asked me if I saw a pair of jeans on my way down. But of course I was skiing down a mountain and so only had time to say “no, sorry…weeeeee.” On to quiz topics: Round 1: What’s your favorite Ghanaian music? Mine is Bolga Zodoomah.
