No Snow Days Off!
Quizler

It’s nights like these that are the best, right? The really loyal alcoholics come out during the rain knowing they have to go home in the snow. I appreciate your support, either way. Congrats to Dr. Crusher to the Rescue for eaking out the one point win, and to The Wiggles, who are probably kicking themselves over that one answer they changed. So how’s your black history month going so far? I hope it’s been educational. I hope it has not gone the path of the Trump administration. Mine has been pretty good. One of those blizzard days when I couldn’t get to work I finally had the chance to get to the post

'Twas the Night Before Nor'easter

Great quiz tonight during a great week for me so far.  The Super Bowl was incredible.  I'm sure that people outside of New England do not feel that way, but it really was just a roller coaster of emotions.  Did any of you go to the parade?  There were people drinking on my train at 6:40 AM going to the parade & lots of rowdy people on my train home that evening too.  I am sure it was a lot of fun, but I had to do my job.  We had several teams that had Patriots related names....No Days Off! which I found very clever since it was Sarah's team (and she would normally be hosting).  Also Brady Blizzard Bubble Buntings

Congrats to Zombie Frederick Douglass for winning by one point, and for getting the better Frederick Douglass name. And to I Got 99 Problems but Devos Aint One (um yes she is) for second place by just one point. Cousin Eddie is always the bridesmaid, never the bride (their words, not mine). Thinking about doing a dry month? Wonder what will happen to your body if you stop drinking alcohol for 30 days? Scientists say there are serious health benefits from cutting out all that sugar and carb poison from your diet. Good new! I’m here to tell you how it will go down. Day 1: Well

What a great night, guys! Thank you to The Waysmeet for hosting such a successful Quiz for a Cause! They really brought it tonight with the handouts and the posters and the being great in general. Thanks to all of you quizzers who came out for them and donated your hard-stolen cash to the cause. The winners got a good sum of money and the Waysmeet took home a nice chunk thanks to you guys. Congrats to Rabies for Babies for getting such a high score and knowing more than anyone else. Congrats to Mary Tyler Less for making us all cringe with that name and for winning that cash. Congratulations to Vincent van Gogh Fuck Yourself for an unoriginal name but a pretty high score, which took first in this, our last week in the America of Obama. And congrats to Trump Never Sweats Solemnly, who was only one point away by himself! Always impressive. Guys, this week a Huey Lewis and the News song came on the radio and I realized something very racist about myself. Apparently without even realizing it, I thought Huey Lewis was black for my entire life. I thought the guy who sang rad movie theme songs was a hip black guy. I thought the record that was so highly praised in American Psycho was a motown record.

Happy New Year Everyone!  My title is in honor of the team named New Year, New Memes, thanks for the inspiration.  Very happy to be the quizmaster such a great group tonight and give Sarah a night off.  What did everyone do for New Years?  I went down to Boston to a friends house.  We watched a delayed version of New Year's Rocking Eve without the volume on so nothing seemed amiss with the lip-syncing, etc.  Do you guys believe in new year's resolutions?  I usually use this time of year to eat more healthy.  I haven't eaten cheese in a week which is a new record for me. Happy Chanukah, y’all! Celebrating Chanukah this late in December has been pretty nice. I barely have to wait for sunset to light the candles; it’s just dark whenever I’m home. Normally I like to make the holiday an excuse to eat all the french fries and jelly donuts and other fried foods, but this year, I kinda did that all the time and ended up not being able to fit comfortably in any of my clothes. So this year I’m trying to celebrate with salads and such. Salads are good sometimes, right? You know what isn’t good? “Sausage Party.” In 2016 I’m kinda shocked by the shit that still gets made, especially when good,

It’s basically telling your fellow humans that you don’t care about them. Or the Earth. Or animals. Or the children of Flint, MI. Or even your buddy from college’s kickstarter for satan’s sake.
