I enjoy long walks on the beach, bourbon and zombies.  

I have a BS in BS.  I can BS in at least 2 languages and I can convincingly imitate a few others.

I enjoy any occasion to dress up.  I will go disco, zombie or Mandalorian if you give me a reason. 

I am Caribbean Joe.  Born in Texas, I lived in the southwest pretty much all my life.  A desert dweller's life for me.  

So I picked up quizzing after my lovely fiancee and scorer, Island Amy, turned me on to the audition.  The rest is history.  Loving the quiz and the people it draws.  If I am not quizzing, you may find me out on 4th enjoying Tucson.

The skies were kind and did not threaten our little assembly.  It seems doing that reverse rain dance earlier in the day helped.  Although that doesn’t mean that everyone stayed dry.  I was reading excerpts of 50 Shades of Grey through the night.  Ok, I wasn’t, but we did have a water station courtesy of Congress.  Thanks.

So we had some newcomers last night from torolocochallenge.com.  They gave away a couple of entries to their charity challenge.  A very cool thing.  After reading a bit more about them, I was touched about how they started it all for the love of a dog named Joe.  As a dog lover myself, I am happy there are more people out that are just happy to help animals.  So be nice to animals, because if they could talk, lots of people would be in all kinds of trouble.

So what happened last night?

  • Woody Allen wants to be immortal and is drawing the life force out of young Korean women to do so.
  • When it comes to Motown vs O-Town, Motown will never lose although Fingerbang does put up some strong competition.
  • Our Healthiest Round Ever on vegetables did not make a single reference to Terri Schiavo. (We’re trying to keep it classy.)
  • Oh those Wabbits.  Judge Doom framed Roger Rabbit, not Christopher Lloyd.  In the same way that Hugh Jackman is not really Wolverine.
  • Come & Knock On Our Door, but then go away, because the sign says no soliciting.  People love the Golden Girls, but not Blanche, because she’s creepy.
  • If it weren’t for the wheelchair requirement, Murderball sounds awesome.
  • Allow Myself To Introduce Myself.  Everyone knows the quotes, Thanks to the Princess Bride, I was not allowed to name a son Inigo, had I had one. 
  • Cujo is scary, but Wishbone is awesome!

After a little up and down in the standings, And for my next trick, I will pull my genitals out of Skeletor came out on top for the $25 Congress gift certificate.  Trivia Newton John finished second for the Empire pizza, but alas, our first place team was kind enough to switch prizes in a show of sportsmanship.  If I only had a Bain was our third place team and they got glow sticks from the mystery box.  We gave out 4th place as well in the form of a drink ticket, some GWD bottle caps and temp tattoos.  That went to The Oneders.  The email bonus was won by Keith.  He claimed the coveted GWD pint glass.  Bow to him.
