2012-13 marks the Pub Quiz's third season at the Cactus Grill & Cantina, and Quizmasters Tom and Shelly invite you to check it out. Free to play, teams of up to 6 welcome...Wednesday nights at 7!

First off...the truth. This week's blog title was inadvertently supplied by Fire Breathing Rubber Duckies...it was their answer to the question about the name of Honey Boo Boo's special pre-pageant elixir. That's not it...but I think if her mom has a Jacked up version, this would be perfectly suitable.

Another strong week at Quiz…10 teams (9 of which submitted their score sheets), a respectable first place score of 72 by JMT, and lots of excitement with a three-way (no, not that) tie for second place between Boo Boo Nots, Heisenberg, and newcomers The Overlords.  Wow! And with Honey Boo Boo, John Stockton (Boo Boo Not’s Ana’s favorite), Snuffleupagus, and Ron Paul represented on the Quiz, how could you go wrong?

As always, it was a good crew – both audience members and Cactus Crew members – and this week, I’m giving away lots of love to y’all…sparkly Gold Stars for everyone!

So, go on, now…take your shiny star, hold it tight this week, and feel the love. Then c’mon back next Wednesday at 7pm and cross your fingers for another 2nd place tie – ‘cause if we get it, I’m lobbying for a something good to settle the score. Forget those tie-breaker questions…we have enough questions in the Quiz already. I say Dance Off….or your best Honey Boo Boo impersonation. (Smile.) Practice up, my friends!
