Strange Brew -- Sundays at 7 The Iron Bear -- Mondays at 8 		Chris LaRue (The R-U-E)

The warrior known now as Quizmaster Chris was born immortal in the Scottish highlands in the 1500's. He was able to keep his clan's secret for centuries until being discovered by Sean Connery in New York in 1985. LaRue escaped to live another day, and Connery played himself in the film adaptation of the encounter.

 

Quizmaster Chris loves Batman, tetrahydrocannibinol, Catholic whiskey, and anything covered in queso.

Jesus titty-farting Christ, it's hot as a, well, as a Texas summer out there. 

Go figure, right?

It's a good thing, then, that Taproom has so very many frosty cold beers ready to help you beat the heat while you quiz! 

This was a good week, though I'm going to suggest the following subjects for you all to study:

--The differences between a Canadian province and a Canadian city. Toronto, Montreal, and Saskatoon are all CITIES. Nova Scotia, P.E.I. and Quebec are provinces. Just like Chicago and Los Angeles aren't states.

--The phrase R.S.V.P. is French. It means "respondez sil vous plait"

--The word "potato" is spelled exactly as I just wrote it. Seriously, it's not a tough one.

Also, if you were on one of the several teams who wrote "all of these shows are dumb" for round 7, you clearly haven't watched Arrested Development or Cheers in a while, because those shows were the tits.

Thanks again for letting me come sweat it out with you guys, and I look forward to the next time I get to sit in the smoky, smoky Taproom and be the condescending douche you all love so much.
