The Following Events Transpired At The Marina.

7:43pm: Chelsea and I park the car and decide to do a different kind of blog.

7:44pm: As Chelsea and I walk up to the door of Opal's Marina, a guy in stripes came up looking real happy and said "Do you guys do the bar trivia?" Chelsea responded "Yeah, but it doesn't start til 10."

7:45pm: Our awesome server Rudy stopped by to say hi. We ask for water and a Coke. Yes, Pepsi is fine.

7:47pm: Rudy comes back with our drinks and sits to chat with us.

7:48pm: Chelsea discovers the soup of the day is Broccoli Cheese (her favorite!) and orders a cup and some chicken tenders and fries.

7:55pm: Charlie comes up to say hi, and we learn that 2 servers were just written up for being late. Drama.

7:58pm: Broccoli Cheese soup arrives. Chelsea is scarfing.

8pm: Manager JDK wants to be in the blog. Done.

8:04pm: Chelsea's chicken strips arrive; she's overwhelmed with all the food she's eating.

8:08pm: All of Chelsea's fries have disappeared, and now my stomach hurts.

8:10pm: Chelsea is full and gives her plate to the busboy.

8:30pm: First quiz team arrives. We recognize, but don't know who they are.

8:38pm: Gwen and Dammit Phil arrive.

8:39pm: Catherine arrives.

8:40pm: Encyclopedia Browneye arrives.

8:47pm: New manager Luis and veteran manager JDK bring out our mixer and supplies.

8:55pm: Gene arrives (on his new motorcycle!).

8:59pm: Weekly wager with JDK. He predicts 34 teams, I predict 42, and Chelsea predicted 32. (I won, btw.)

9:07pm: First quizzer comes up to get his packet.

9:15pm: First announcement, warning about foul language.

9:20pm: Chelsea knocks raging cricket off of a quizzer's shoulder.

9:25pm: Chelsea encounters an army of crickets; Trail of Dead.

9:42pm: Hostess Beverly made a ribbon for Busboy Tyler's birthday. And he's wearing it.

9:45pm: Evelyn Potty Break

9:49pm: Round 5 is ready for pick up!

9:53pm: I see a cricket crawling on a quizzer's penile area, and start yelling, "Your penis! It's on your penis!"

10pm: Quiz starts as Chelsea is stomping mercilessly on the cricket army.

10:15pm: Turn in Round 1.

10:23pm: Start Round 3: Number Sequence

10:24pm - 12:05am: No idea. Crickets everywhere.

12:10am: Final scores and goodnight!
