Whoo! Now that's what I call a Valentine's Day! As usual, leave your loved ones at home and swing down to GLC for another exciting round of Geeks Who Drink Pub Quiz!  

I was able to mainly stay out of romance questions throughout the night. Sure, a few slipped through, but for the most part, we were a madly loveless crowd. A little Justin Bieber here, a little flower phobia there, and viola`! Halmark Day is over! Our music round definitly threw folks for a curve. You could use one certain unnamed team's strategy...every song was by Flo-Ri-Da. More like Flo-Ri-Duhhhhhhh.

When we first settled into our seats, we were surrounded by Valentino dining dates. Folks were ordering food like it was going out of style. Quick reminder to everyone out there: GLC doesn't scrimp on portion sizes. Order and sandwich and expect a meal. I'm not joking. I get a doggie bag everytime, and it feeds me for a week! Try the Picard.

We had a real wild ride this week. A band of newcomers came pressing forth, moving the regular teams down a notch. The jokers were used strategically, to say the least. Some folks like to play the joker fast and wild, others like to hold out in hopes of an easy final round. Ramanda knew what was up, but had a hard run with the solo Quick Pink. The 69ers were in a tie for cool team name, up against the Perks of Being a Barfly. Team Blank rocked the house, while Al Gore Riddums tried to make up for lost time. In the end, the battle came down to Cobra Kai and Flotsam Jetsam. Cobra Kai took the win in the end. Will they ever been de-thrond? You'll have to tune in next week.
