If it is past Labor Day, and I can't wear white, and Winter is Coming, then why is it still so effing hot outside? The longer the summer, the harsher the winter like they all say. September blizzard anyone? I need one to remind me of the good-old-days.

A plethora of teams with stories to their names tonight. Lets start with Balloon Knots. They said that they look like assholes. They then spouted off a list of things that also remind them of assholes.

• A foamy latte sprinkled with cinnamon. Drop a bit of sugar in the middle.

They said they had more, and I believe them. I just didn't want their fetish to get the best of me.

Total Eclipse of the Fart also had a story. It is exceedingly rare for a woman to admit to farting in public. So when they both farted at the same time, a team name was born. Maybe team names are like epoxy. They need the two different materials to combine. They didn't tell me which fart was the eclipsing, and which was the eclipsed. Good thing we aren't in Philadelphia where they eat each other's farts.

My scratch paper is too good for some people. When someone comes to quiz with a notebook specifically for the purpose of keeping track of your own score, that takes dedication. Especially when the notebook is hard-bound with one bookmark ribbons in it. But that is the style of 17^th Century Erotic Poets? Donne and Donne. He did not apologize for the name, just for the class he took in classics.

Space Docking came back after about a month hiatus, and Frito-Lay-Mis just had the awesome name of the night. A note for Frito-Lay-Mis:

I asked Bethany, and she said that the Tuesday is marked so that you can't use your gift certificate that night. You know what that means? You can use it next Tuesday when you come back and Quiz! Sorry about the confusion.

Another important note for the evening is that Fu Manchu is now my official "favorite" team. The previous title holder was Money Beets a couple weeks ago. Teams may fight to the death over this title any given Tuesday night, or in a cage match where I have ring-side seats. They only missed one quiz and I almost have their names down. That is my Labor Day resolution, to learn people's names at Quiz.
