Quiz Schedule

Southern California native, Jacy grew up in Long Beach CA, where he learned how to survive surburbia in an old Volkswagen and slanging foam at chain coffee shops.  He later moved to Los Angeles proper to attend UCLA where he has a BA in History.  You can find him attending comedy shows, strange music venues, and eating a lot throughout Los Angeles.

What a great night at Hamburger Mary’s last night!  

 

It was my first time being a quiz master and was welcomed warmly by the wonderful teams we had.  I had Quiz Master Tom in the audience to watch my back, and after confronting my fear of setting up the audio system, I was ready to deliver the Quiz. Dead in front of my Quiz Mastering table was Quiz in My Pants, coming in 2nd place, blew me away with not only their quiz answering skills, but also the size of their shared martini.  The mysterious Hamburger Gary’s, the winning team of the evening, decided to keep their anonymity and covered their faces in the photo.  We may not know their identities, but we cannot doubt their answering skills.  The Good Game Players, came in third in a very close game, with only 1 point separating first from second and second from third, but also big winners, gaining Cupcake Toothpaste for answering the e-mail bonus question.  

 

Big thanks also to John, Jerry, Todd, and Esteban the crew that night at Hamburger Mary’s who did a great job, as usual, in making the best place to be in West Hollywood on a Thursday night.

 

I was not able to stay after for Jules’ show after the Quiz, but I did get to see her outside and she is fairly amazing, may have to hang out after the Quiz next week.  See you then Quizzers!
