Hey one and all, new Quizmaster Nick here! We had a great quiz tonight and it only stands to get better in coming weeks! I'm not really sure if the Bulldog has a porkchop sandwich, but I can promise that they do have the Chicken Club that you are looking for. 

Early in the quiz, I wasn't giving the Smarty Pints proper respect for coming up with such a pun-tastic name. I will try to rectify that now with a well placed compliment: excellent work, ladies.

Speaking of well placed compliments, extra points to Nerds With Swagger for knowing what the heck that "Pork Chop Sandwiches" quote was from.

Our bonus question on the book Nicholas Cage's character in adaptation was working with stumped all the people originally designated the "smart guy" in their group. I was just getting blank stares until a ringer from Swagger-Less Nerds ran up to claim the free beer. Thank god, I don't know what other clues I would have given to get someone to guess The Orchid Thief. 

Speaking of bonus questions, we should have some people on the email list now, so remember to come prepared next week with the answer to the E-mail only question. That way I won't have to read off anyone's email address in order to give away the prize (sorry world, but we're expecting a bacon shortage soon, so I doubt it will be bacon flavored dental floss again.) 

In any case, thanks for being kind to the newbie quiz master. I can promise you that I'll only get better and the quiz will only get more fun. What I can't promise, is that any of you will get any smarter. Oh well, time to recruit your smart friends to help out your squad.
