Logan (Goober)

My name's Logan, I'm a mild-mannered 26 working as a software sales engineer by day and quizzing like a madman by night. I live my life to the soundtrack from Brat Pack movies and training montages. I seem to have an unnatural fear of smurfs.

Subbing at another quiz sometimes feels like cheating on your regular venues, and never more than last night. And it felt sooo good. The whole night was a sensual tryst, dripping with quizzy eroticism. From the moment I put my hand on the handle of the massive bronze doors, it was like walking into a cathedral of trivial sex. And I mean that in the sense that the sex has to do with trivia. It was anything but trivial in the "meaningless" sense. I've had one night stands with other quizzes that meant nothing, but this? Magical. The mood lighting, the sound system, the wall of very private round booths with glorious red leather upholstery, the raised DJ platform that let me A) lord over the room and B) see down into those private booths very clearly, Mr. and Miss Make-out-all-night. Knock that shit off. Only I get to be turned on by quiz. It's weird when you do it. Especially since you weren't playing.

Seriously, though. This place is awesome. You guys get involved, which is awesome. Yes, shouting out the answers is A Bad Thing. But shouting out "Braveheart" to questions that have nothing to do with anything resembling Braveheart? Perfectly fine! In moderation, of course.

I'm excited for next week. I'm bringing my quizzing pants. You should, too. Also, if you develop a rash in the next 4-5 days, just go to a clinic. Trust me, penicillin will take care of it.
