Hola! My name is Sean O'Shea, aka one of the two quizmasters at Castaways in lovely Ithaca, NY. When I am not entertaining the quizzers, I am attempting to entertain people in other ways... Tonight was a grand night! We had 10 illustrious teams come out with of course, constant commentary, but thats why they're my favorites. Lots of movie questions, few sports questions, and two even led to a geography question! And who doesn't fuckin love some geography?! Lima baby!

Torquizmada came in second place with 82 points. In the lead, with 87 points, we had "Find Us at the Bar" and that I did! See! Kenneth was right! Alcohol is scientifically proven to make you think you're smarter!

One of my favorite aspects of this job is finding out what the common masses know and don't know. The most random trivial and of course pop culture references and bits of imformation stick, but a lot of the common pieces of "School based learning" shizzle escapes us after we take the final.

Tonight's quiz was brought to us by children's educational television and Kate Winslet's breasts. Now you know.

The sun was out to play as were some of my regulars sadly, but those who did come out, I think we had a dandy time all the same! With 7 teams playing, the pace was good, and smooth, just like Kate Winslet's breasts.

The team in the lead changed almost every round which made it all the more interesting, to me at least as host... but Torquizmada took the second half by storm and pulled ahead. Sadly they did not break 100 points as they did last week (A record I very sadly missed! Super bummed about that!) but rather ended with 79 points. Coming in second place, beating out 2 other teams by just 1 point, was Tywinning with 73 points.

A Lannister Spays Its Pets, had the spaying tool out that night as they took the top prize, and left the other challengers spewn upon broken lances and answer sheets.  There was no dwarfing the intellectual giants on that team!  Torquizmada took second place and showed that even a with a name like Torquizmada one can overcome and achieve second place.

8 Teams entered and 8 team exited albiet, much more drunker, and much more happier after two hours of beer food and pub triva, hot wait staff.  I love the names that this crowd come up with
