Retail slave by day, I play the role of smart-ass, quiz host in the evening. Lording my intelligence over the quiz peons gives me the strength I need to get through my days. This is about as close as I will get to utilizing my Theatre degree so I'm going to take advantage of this. 

Lunchbox Laboratory is the place to be on Monday nights in Bellevue. The fact our regular quizzers weren't driven away by the fact I talked about balls for most of the night is a minor miracle. The real lesson tonight was that geography is still not exactly our strong suit. As a lesson for everyone, jokering on future rounds entirely about geography might be a bad idea. I was also reminded that the average American can name more than one member of N'Sync.

Hall of Shame

  • Ballin' Chain  - I've never heard Candy Ass by Perry Como. Is that a new song?
  • Rock Me Like a Herman Cain - Tom Cruise will now always be known at my quizzes as Douche the Midget. Also, for renaming "The Taking of Christ" as "The Last Gangbang"
  • Sabert-Tooth Lifes and The Flying Manatees - For getting one point on a rangefinder geography round. That's rough.

Tonight's final results were both surprising and totally expected. Scarves once again ruled the evening, but they did so with a single player.
