Big Papa is area improv goon Mike Ferris.  He likes video games, comic books, pub quizzes and LOVES his daughter! 

Last night's quiz was ba nay nays, guys!  We learned exactly how well you know the presidents (pretty good!), how well you knew the husbands and coat tail riders of famous women (Suspiciously well) and how well you knew romantic movies (eh, not so great).  Twas an amazing evening!

FIrst off, we had a return from Charles of team "Hand Solo".  One of only two people to get the Parks and Rec question, he is now my  new best friend.  We are going to go on long road trips and talk about our feelings.  Also, he is looking for a new team.  If you have any ideas, the comments section would be a GREAT place to put them!

It was a return to form for the Bag of Douches.  They came out the gate on FIRE like Katniss!  Was it the epic return of Chad to the Bag of Douches that resulted in the strong performance?  The presence of a man who was mightily concerned about his perceived level of asian-ness?  Probably.

The Drunken Nomads tought me a little lesson about what it is to assume things.  If there's a table of 2 manly men and one pretty woman, it does NOT, I repeat, does NOT mean that she's the one who answered the Twilight question properly.  Making that assumption is going to embarass you and all parties involved. Especially if it involves a microphone and the Granite City sound system.

Remember nerds, next week is our "Simpsons" themed quiz.  Show up early, as these things always get jam packed!  Start watching those reruns, start making prank phone calls and practice sitting on the couch with your family in ever-more-complicated manners, cause there's money on the line!
