Be creative, be vulgar, be topical, come up with a great team name, be funny and you'll be rewarded.

Finally, I'm back in the saddle after a two week journey across the western hemisphere.  Cullen's is The place for Geeks Who Drink!  What an incredible venue.  I come in, get a great steak ($12) and drink $2 Shiners all night while we all have a great time with the pub quiz.

In Honor of the Olympics, I offered up a prize for the funniest Olympic themed team names.  Many of you gave it your best shot but there could only be one winner, or in this case two winners, Synchronized Muff Divers and We'll Stick Your Vault.  

Penis seemed to be the recurring theme of the quiz.  It was hard to go for too long without a dick joke popping up.

R3.  The Hedgehog's Dong

Probably the funniest round I've had the honor of hosting, the jokes here were way too plentiful and easy and they ran way beyond the confines of round 3.  You smartasses were calling me out all night with shouts of SHORTER! and earning yourselves free beers by making me laugh.  Most teams did very well with this round, America Fuck Yeah, China Syndrome, Helen Keller Take the Wheel, Synchronized Muff Divers, and Synchronized Shuttlecocks all scored 7 points.  You all have the authority to relate the length of any household items to Ron Jeremy's penis with my full confidence of your accuracy.  Congratulations to you sir.

R4.  Know your Presidents

Who knew John Quincy Adams was such a badass?  I'll tell ya who, Helen Keller take the wheel knew it!  The Washington Monument? LONGER!

 

We had a hotly contested match tonight, so hot in fact that it went LONGER, we had sudden death overtime!  For those of you that checked out early, China Syndrome was able to take advantage of a pregnant team member to ace a question about birth defects and thusly winning first place!
