Greetings and salutations true quizzers,

It was quite the pleasure hosting for your usual QM Dav last night. Your venue is absolutely perfect for quiz and the staff are oh-so friendly! Can I make a shout out to manager Cole and bartender Mandy? Y’all rule. Just sayin’.

And you quizzers…you lovely quizzers! Thanks so much for coming out and playing last night. I have no idea why Dav wouldn’t celebrate his 40th birthday with you. Well, I suppose I can’t blame him for not wanting to work, but still.

So, with yesterday being Dav’s birthday, I asked y’all to come up with some fine prose, art, and other well wishes and put it on the back of your round 8 answer sheets. Here are some of the fine words you sent your beloved quizmaster:

Team E=MC (Hammer) drops some sound advice:

Team Off To Teddy Ruxpin sends the traditional GWD wishes:
-“Dear Dav, Happy Fucking Birthday!!

Team Yay, Team Yay says:

And Linda of team Lindetta reminds us all to just buy birthday cards next time:

Yes, she was having the best of times celebrating her birthday without Dav. It was great; everyone was drunk and happy.

I must congratulate Yay, Team Yay on securing second place with 67 points and our first place team earned 70 points, proving that no one beats Off to Teddy Ruxpin. And no one expects the Spanish Inquisition!

Thank you again for being so welcoming and just fucking awesome overall. I’ll definitely have to come up for a quiz or two in the near future. Dav will be back with you next week for more quiz madness, so be sure to treat him right.
