Hi guys!  How do you like the grainy profile pic?  I'm so embarrassed; you MUST recognize me as juror number nine from "Law and Order: SVU" from episode 3, season 14.  No autographs, please.

Yes, your very own quizmaster is, in fact, a movie star.  Hi, my name is Courtney Knight.  You may have also seen the back of my head college girl-ing it up on "New Girl", my legs jogging past Will Arnett on "Up All Night", my back walking past Lea Michele on "Glee", and many others.  In 2013, you might see a familiar face playing a hipster with a funny hat and sitting with a backgammon board in a coffee shop on the HBO show "Girls".

But, sometimes the pressure, the glamor of the film set, IT'S JUST ALL TOO MUCH!  And on Tuesday nights, I need to decompress, and go back to my geeky roots.  So I deign to spend some of my incredibly valuable time with you drunk nerds (whom I love dearly) and put away Hollywood life, at least for a single night.

I'm ready for my close-up, Mr. DeMille...

Wow.  Seriously, wow.  You all sure know how to make a gal feel welcome.  :D

Last night was my first solo quiz, and I have to say, I couldn't have done it without you!

(I mean, I know I couldn't have LITERALLY done it without you, but the point stands)

sideBAR had a great crowd tonight.  A few fun and frisky interns, some sports fans, but tonight was a night FOR THE GEEKS!

Quiz was solid tonight, with eight tremendous teams.  And it was anybody's game for a long time, with the last round shaking everything up due to the dreaded Joker!  But you all played like champions, and for that, I salute you.

Bulbous Sore came in first with a whopping 57 points, and Gone Shootin' followed in a distant but honorable second with 49 points.

I want to make sure and include an honorable mention towards Team Matt Attack who did come in last, but came in late and actually skipped the first two rounds.  Way to hang in there, guys!

Michael/Gadget won the email bonus question because he's, well, really smart and cool and ON THE EMAIL LIST.  #hinthint

Hope you guys all had as much fun as I did!  The amazing birthday boy Brad Temple will be back next week.  Brad, we played "Africa" in your honor, FYI.  ;)
