I couldn’t bring myself to write my last blog for Legends…yeah… that’s my reason for late quiz blogging today…
Thanks to Charles “Big Pimpin” Pearl for visiting on my farewell night…when he wasn’t hitting up the ladies for digits, he was assisting on a first place win for team Lick her in the front, poke her in the rear.
Lance continued to impress with his dual quiz playing skills, Sparkle Motion played their joker on a well scored 8th round, securing a second place victory and the pretty half of that team managed to take home some scented prizes for a correctly answered internet bonus prize. Pickles, bacon and Fugu? Yes, please.
Adieu, Legends. Now where are those other Aurora Tuesday night quizzes?

Another fun night at the Legends of Aurora. It has only been 3 weeks since I last subbed here for Stef. As much flack as we give her, she is still amazing for letting me see you amazing people. Don't give her too much grief. (I haven't actually met her in person, that needs to happen)
Always good pizza for a great quiz. You are all pretty smart, except when it comes to the clowns. I had to dumb the bonus question down twice for you guys to get it. No love for the Upright Citizens Brigade, or The Brave Little Toaster. Had to go to Stephen King for that one. In speaking of TBLT, did you know the Pixar founder was supposed to direct that? Little known fact.
In speaking of the quiz, I am always impressed by Lance with his dual mind working. I think of Buzztime as the short sword in the off hand compared to Geeks being the bastard sword in the main hand. That way you can neglect most dual-weilding penalties.
It was good to see The Walking Fred this week. Last time I was here, they were the Aluminum Falcon. What the hell is an aluminum falcon? If you don't get that refrence, then shame on you. Look it up.
Sparkle Motion did pretty well all quiz. When it came to the internet bonus question, no one brought up answers, so a sign-up raffle ensued. The girl in the glasses signed up first, but lost to Punky Monkey. The chivalrous man let her have the band-aids. No wonder he had two women hanging on him in the photo.
I think I'll come quiz with you guys next week. That way I can chat you up and meet Stef. Also enjoy the pizzazzy pizza. Now that's a word you can't spell on a Scrabble board.

Lots of warm fuzzies last night. Cute (though slightly judgemental) animals graced Round 5. Quizzers chanted cheers about their appreciation of pub trivia and even a few for me specifically- might have been the free beers being handed out (given away via cute fuzzy beer tokens), but I will take people chanting my name any way I can get it. There was that one question about the Chinese- but they very well might be insidious and they HAVE poisoned our pets with their glutens.
Lance defended his first place win from last week valiantly, but could not prevail over out of towners Today's Winners and Shake and Bake claimed second with a well scored 8th round.
Thanks to all the teams last night- a night filled with veterans who know the quiz and love it.
