I'm a former body piercer and radio personality from South Carolina. Growing up in the Deep South, I learned early on that everyone was a piece of shit and the only things deserving of my love were basset hounds and terrible music.

I moved to Utah in 2005 and became an AFTDA certified roller derby announcer, as well as "King of Blog Shit Mountain" for Geeks Who Drink.

I'm typing this at 1 in the morning, knowing full well I msut be up in four hours to go to the new job I'm starting. That's how much I love you.

Tonight, we had a round on quotable movies. The first clip was from Fight Club, with a very romantic line. The original line from Marla was, "I want to have your abortion". Enter Laura Ziskin, then president of production for Fox pictures. She pretty much threw a hissy fit about the line. The director, David Fincher, said he would change the line to one of his own devising under the condition that Ziskin couldn't make him change it again. She agreed and Fincher wrote, "I haven't been fucked like that since grade school." When Ziskin heard the new line, she blew twice as many hooker gaskets and told Fincher to change it again. He pretty much said blow and kept it the same.

Ziskin really hated a lot of the movie though, despite the fact she got the project of the ground. Another scene she loathed was the one where Brad Pitt steps out with the dishwashing glove when he finds out Edward Norton is listening in to him having sex. The story goes that when it was viewed by a test audience, the scene got the biggest laugh in the entire film, so she shut up and let it be.

If you actually care to do the research, you'll also find that a number of extras in the film also left mid filming because they were either sick of the subject matter or how their character was being treated in the film. Eh, anyway.

Congratulations to CEE-U-NEXT-TUESDAY for 1st place. See you all next week!
