How about that team party for some little league team occupying the ENTIRE bar area? Incredible. I never thought I would start a quiz and have more prepubescent people then adults running around me. But, we started and most everybody found a table worth sitting at. And with a mass of screaming children, baseball playing adolescences, and crazed basketball fans the nights quiz began!
Round 1: Eight Quick Easy Questions About State Nicknames
This round was pretty easy if you had a bunch of state quarters in your pockets or had some general sense of geography and a fondness for silence plates. I think Idaho’s motto should read, “Idaho, No Small Potatoes”
Average score: 6.5
Round 2: Hookers!
Yes, I know that Susan Boyle is not the original artist of I Dreamed A Dream. But, God Damn she can belt out a song or what.
Average score: 11.2
Round 3: Chris Rock or Chris Tucker
How could anyone give Chris Tucker a Razzie for his role as Ruby Rhod in The Fifth Element? That’s like saying Michael Cera's role in This Is The End was meaningless...
Average score: 6.25
Round 4: Aenough is Aenough
You all did really well on this. I thought it was going to be difficult, but then again, you are the crowd of the Wing Dome and you are all geniuses. You all probably have leather-bound copied of The Aeneid and the works of Aesop.
Average score: 6.2
Round 5: Le Cinema de la WTF?
If you looked really close at the posters you could either translate the title or find the actors and deduce from there. And most of you knew that Cujo was The Killer Dog, not many other options there.
Average score: 6.2
Round 6: Two Nerds Diverged In a Yellow Wood
"You mean I have to put two answers and only get One Point!" Yes, that’s what I said. But you're all nerds so I think your passions paid off in this round. Blaster/phaser, Twilight/Potter, and Gobots/Transformers. I'd also like to thank Team My Sister Shaved her Legs and Wreck em for saying I will never get laid.
Average score: 3.8
Round 7: We Have a Movie Title!
I still don't believe anyone as really seen Gone Baby Gone. Maybe next week the sound quality will improve or maybe I'll learn how to use a sound board. My money is on neither.
Average score: 4
Round 8: Random Knowledge
Some of you really did know Ray Harryhausen and I'm proud of you. Nobody knew what a Hinny was, though, most just wrote "Ass" and I'm assuming that was directed at me and how dare you!
Average score: 7.6
For the three jokers that were circled in round two it only helped our second place team, the 1% who managed to stay in the top three all night. The third place team Stuck in a Rut come from out of know where with a great 8th round joker and our champions of the evening, also with a great joker played in the final round, were the Aluminum Falcons who slowly snuck up the chart to reclaim the top stop. Thank you for everyone who came out and I will see you next week. Don't forget to check out the Facebook page and like us and you can sign up for Rumble in the Pub on Geekswhodrink.com.

Round 1: Better Halves
Some kids really wrote in Jesus for the King Solomon answer. Good on you kids, I feel that our future is safe.
Average score: 6.2
Round 2: Stroke or Speech Impediment
John Mayer, Oh my God, The voice of an angle, I don't even care if I can't understand him.
Average score: 8.4
Round 3: Sooner or Later: Cinema Clusterfuck
Holy shit what a clusterfuck! Six-degrees of Kevin bacon thank you very much!
Average score: 3.8
Round 4: Recently in Stuff
Who the Fuck is Susan Rice and Why do I care? Also, Some one order me that hitler tea pot, STAT!
Average score: 5.8
Round 5: Consider These Arms Bore
You all very, very well on this gun round you crazy redneck, right-wing, Sarah Palin-loving Americans!
Average score: 7.8
Round 6: I Have a history of Losing My Shirt
Barenaked Ladies is one of the only good things to come out of Canada. Most of you put The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly of the Eastwood move, no, you needed the other one. Get it right next time.
Average score: 4.3
Round 7: What Have We Missed At the Movies
Sorry for the audio, again, and sorry for the new Tyler Perry Movie. Poor Craig Robinson and David Alan Grier.
Average score: 5.2
Round 8: Random Knowledge
Stupid Portuguese, Why can't you be spoken more in your home country!!! I still don't know how to say "Toccata and Fugue in D Minor" or "Cloche", I'm not worldly. You can't Make ME!!!!
Average score: 9.3
The top three teams tonight jockeyed for position and in the end we had a new champion emerge! Awesome job to our third place team, Stuck In A Rut, who were short some members but still rocked it. By one point our second place team, Dogs Humpin Cats, was knocked out of first at the last minute by our new champs, The Furriest Beavers!!! Awesome name, still gross though.

It was a very sunny day here in Kirkland, WA which lead to a great Evening of Pub Quizzing. We had all kinds of teams tonight, duos, families, repeat champs, and one team that was one-person over capacity.
The first round was just in the nic of time, it looks like people only had trouble remembering who the fuck Nico was and how do you spell Nictitating Membrane. On to our first audio round in which was not the best showing for our teams. The average score was a 6...out of 16...poor Wing Dome. If you don't know Italian Leather Sofa by Cake, go check out the cartoon Mission Hill. Awesome show.
I'd like to take this moment to give a shout out to Wilt, good job Wilt, 20,000 is a hell of a number.
Does anyone know how to apply to be on the Clue Crew? Anyone? Hit me up on Facebook. I would kill for that job, Look out Sarah, Jimmy, and Kelly.
On the visual round tonight I had a team ask me about what movie the guy in number one was in...I only wish I could have told you...I hope it didn't cost you the game.
Am I the only one who remembers Leisure Suit Larry and Space Quest? I can't be, does anyone remember that fucking blue screen of DOS and pressing numbers to play Commander Keen? I miss those days...
I apologize for the audio on round 7...Ok...So that one chick just would not suck up. Oh My God, I watch the people sitting with her tell her to shut up and she just kept on going...WTF
As for the final round. Great job knowing geography, Egypt, Spain, and various mountainous states of the United States. Only one team knew more the one "father" from Fortunate Son, good job, Master Exploder.
Third place was won on the battle field of Paper, Rock, Scissors between Young & the Restless and Heights. Heights came out on top winning 2/3 hands thrown. On the Number Two podium was the Leafs With Teeth, which is really hard to say, it just doesn't roll of the tongue. And, our champions of the Dome, they are repeat offenders, Stuck In A Rut.
Thank you all for coming out. Check us out on Facebook and Twitter. I will see you next Tuesday.
