Being a Quiz Master is awesome.

I am a nice girl. I try to be and I absolutely strive to be fair. That being said, I did not realize until after the awarding of prizes that Powerball had too many. Rules are 6 or less to a team or no joker, regardless of when you joker. It definitely changes the score ranking for a lot of teams. I think that everyone handled it well, though. The team with the dirtiest name was appeased by a "I Dated a Hooker" book. Ha ha.

You know what else happened? I gave away extra! It was pretty funny. I gave the option for a mystery prize or a free beer to the bonus question winners. My first lady winner opted for the mystery prize and received a collectors edition dvd of Jurassic Park III. She loved it! The only problem is...that was the only extra prize I brought. Luckily, no one else opted for a mystery prize and all chose Beer. It was funny to me because, first, did people see the dvd and didn't want something like it? Second, because I had planned on the other mystery prizes to be 2 beers instead of 1. You see what happened there? Ha ha.

Next, It is my extreme pleasure to inform you that Brooke and Capitol Garage are hosting the Game of Thrones Themed Quiz! The date is Saturday, June 8th at 7:30 pm. It will be just like our weekly quizzes. Same format, etc. except each player pays $5 and there is 1 cash prize to the top team. So if you like Game of Thrones, quizzing, and cash you might want to start studying (oh boo hoo, that show is awesome!) and getting some smarty-pants to team up with. Remember only 6 or less to a team and everyone at the table has to pay.
