Kenny Madison is the GWD QuizMasTer of the Oklahoma City area, meaning that he has all dominion over all those who proclaim to have trivia knowledge. He's grown up in Oklahoma, he would kind of know.

He's a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and loves to wave around his Film/Video Studies degree as much as possible. He's used it to make lots of videos, like his web series "Manwhores," as well as do improv comedy with his multitudes of troupes. When he's not busy trying to prove his worth, he loves, loves, LOVES, to watch Star Trek.

The last time I quiz mastered was on September 25th, 2012. I know this because it was my birthday. It was an awesome birthday where people clapped for me because of my rock and roll quizmastering. Some say that I'm the David Lee Roth of Geeks Who Drink. To those people, I say...

Yes. Yes, I am.

So it was with great pride that I strolled back into McNellie's to rock the mic once more. Much like putting on an old pair of pants that smells like sweet potato fries, so, too, was the comfort of being quizmaster once more. Also, that last sentence made sense.

Boy, it was a doozy. For starters, Goodbye, Greyjoy's Gonads had some kind of personal vendetta against me. Perhaps it was my rock star vibe or the fact that they might not have been happy with some of the questions. Either way, they let me know and I cried a bunch. Rock star tears, too.

In third place was Bart the Bear with 74 points. I applauded them on their obscure reference, though I only know the reference because I read it earlier in the week. Bart the Bear is the world's most famous bear actor. Now, Bart the Bear is the third best pub quiz team in Norman.

Second place belonged to Brian & Sarah with 76 points. Brian came up to claim his prize like a rock star. I asked, "Are you Brian?" He said, "Yeah."

Tell me you've heard more hard rocking words.

First place was conquered by team Yer with a whopping 82 points. They were crowd-surfed down by all of ours teams, then carried out of McNellie's . Their scepter of victory was held high for all of Norman to see, shining brightly in the dark black night. Also, they won a $50 gift certificate.

Also, The Darkest Timeline decided to exercise their nerd credibility with their black goatees. I must say that, in the year and a half I've been a quizmaster, this is the first time I've ever had anyone come in costume. Luckily, no one lost an arm or tried to eat fire in the pandemonium of having costumes.

It was really good to be back.

Hey everybody!!! My name is Cathy Stewart and I live and work in Norman Oklahoma.  I am a student, waitress, oh yeah and Quizmaster.  I can be found hanging out at the PUB almost any night of the week, cause i work there and it's my favorite bar in town!  I am 6'2" and the oldest of four children.  My sign is GEMINI and Im Crazy!!!!! Well with the thunder game and finals week here in Norman, I was expecting a lighter crowd tonight, but if I do pub quiz....they will come and play!

We had a rowdy bunch here tonight, loud and crazy but it added a bit of atmsophere to the pub tonight.  CRAZY LADIES were louder than my ass screaming into the mic.  

TOnight in first place was a new team to pub quiz and they were able to dominate with a score of 77 points to grab that 50 dollar prize.  We will call them Team THIS SUPPOSED JURY.  Shout out to the crazy drunk asian girl.  There was a tie for second and third place, two teams came close to a win with scores of 76 points,  They were I DONT KNOW HOW TO PRONOUNCE and IM NOT GAY BUT $5 IS $5.  The tie breaker gave the silver to team IM not GAY, and I dont know how to pronounce came in third with a 10 dollar gift card.  

As usual I would like to thank everyone for coming out.  See yall and all your smart friends next week at the same time at the same damn place!!!

Thanks for coming out tonight folks... Glad to see all y'all!!! Tonight i have to give credit to the best team name in hot min.  I even named my blog after them tonight...

There was a tie for third and second place tonight.  Team JUST QUIZZED MY PANTS and team WHERE’S YOUR GOD NOW, TIM TEBOW? tied for second place and in a tie breaker quizzed came the closest without going over and secured themselves the 25 dollar gift card, and Team Tebow go the 10 dollar third place finish.  In first tonight was team FLYING RED WHEELS killing the competition by scoring 82 points.  Good job to everyone who played with us tonight.  See you next week, same time same place.  THUNDER UP OKC!!!!
