Marching Hell

We all knew someone who was in marching band in high school. They had their own group of friends seperate from everyone else and the most interaction they would have with other groups at the school would be during home football games when they would play at half time. This weeks quiz brought us a reminder of high school football with some pretty terrible interpretations of top 40 hits. Most were barely recognizable. Frankly, a one man band with a kazoo could have produced better quality work. Shockingly this is where we had the highest scores of the night. Looks like most of you guys know your marching bands.

This week was a treat. For all of you out there who have asked me for sports rounds in the past Round 6 was especially for you. Based on scores here I would say that your thirst will continue as this round stumped most of you. We had our first and only zero of the night. To be fair, who cares about rugby, the Commonwealth Games, or anything to do with soccer. This is 'merica dammit and as such you should only be concerned with football and beer right?

Our visual round this week was perhaps my favorite in a long while. Clint Eastwood is starting to lose it and the visual round only made his speech that much funnier. Most of the speeches at this years DNC and RNC were absolute garbage so to have some humor like his speech inserted lightened the mood. Though, I would have loved to hear Ron Paul speak.

TEAM NAME OF THE NIGHT: We got a 91 last night. Quiz two nights in a row AND you managed to take home 1st place two nights in a row. Good show gentlemen.

THE 'OH SHIT I'M PROUD TO BE YOUR QUIZMASTER MOMENT OF THE NIGHT: When not only did most of the teams do very well on Round 2 but we actually had a perfect score from THE EMPTY CHAIRS.

Round 6: 3.12	5 by Are ya ded mon?, We got a 91 yesterday and The Empty Chairs	This is 'Merica! Soccer? Ha!
Round 7: 4.87	6 by We got a 91 yesterday, Sweatpants Boners and 2 guys drinking for 6	For me it's a tie as to which toy should be run over by a mack truck: Tickle me Elmo or Furby. Both were equally awful.
Round 8: 9	12 by Are ya ded mon? and The Empty Chairs	No one had Hunger Games for question four. Lots of Twighlight though.
