Hey folks,

I am Rachel! Welcome to my intro profile thing. I am a graduate student at UC Davis, studying Education (I was an English major, though, so that's my thing...) I student teach around the area and will get a credential and MA sometime in 2014.

When I am not leading the youth of tomorrow, I can be found at the local Beer Shoppe having a tasty pint, or a punk show in Sacramento or the Bay Area. I spend a considerable amount of time caved up doing school work, so Monday and Tuesday as quizmaster are kinda like my weekend. Except I can't really drink much cuz I have to teach in the morning. It's a test of my will!

Hello G Street Wunderbarbarians!!

I am sitting in the bar, enjoying a brew, and just loving the atmosphere. I got to play some schweeeeet tunes tonight and, despite starting a bit late, we finished at 10:59pm. Well done!!

We had a total of just 7 teams tonight. I am trying to get a gauge on how many people to expect each week but it has fluctuated between today's low of 7 to as many as 12 or so when I came to watch Julia. Next week I will only print 14 visual rounds; this ish is costing me money!!

Todays teams are mentioned at left. We had the returning veterans of ever-changing names tonight, "Geeks Who Drink...Blood!!" They were clever in their answers, citing Angel *and* Spike as Buffy's love interests in the TV series. Indeed, us good fans know Spike won her heart just as much, if not more, than Angel! To hell with his spin-off show!!

Also, I wanted to say a special hello to Erin, who I met in the loo! :) She is pals with Jason who had also auditioned for this job. Luckily, he wasn't feeling well so I got it! No hard feelings though :) I'm buying him a beer next week! They were part of the 2nd place team, "Barrack You Like a Hurricane"!

I wanted to commend the team "Bobby Wears Crocs" for being the only team in Round 8 (random knowledge) to guess all 3 of North Carolina's University's labels for women's bodies. They were "pear, apple, and banana" - though most said melon instead of banana. I get it. Someone also said strawberry. Can't say I get that one...

Well. I guess this ends my night. I had a great time talking about the Roseanne show and how Booker (Clooney!) was a featured guy on it. I friggin' love Roseanne. No joke. Netflix sucks for taking her away from me on Instant Watch.

Tomorrow I am at Alley Katz in Sacramento from 730pm-930pm. 

I hope to see some of my classmates from the UCD English Ed cohort there... I'm looking at you, Soo. :)
