Hello Everyone!

Hmmmmmm... I never really know how to start this... if you look on facebook people give pretty vague and generic information; (I like art, music, my friends) or other people write deep cryptic ideas about themselves and leave new friends saying, "Awesome... I still know nothing about you."

The one thing that people should know about me is I love to laugh and have a good time.  When people have a good time, I will have a good time. Maybe that can be bad thing, but I know how laughter and a smile can change a person's day or mood.

I love having a good time! I have a good time doing the smallest things like I have a good time talking to my mom, laughing with my friends, attempting to cook. I love running! I love working out!! It makes me feel and look amazing!! But again, I love having a good time, and that's why I love working for GWD and Alley Katz. Because everyone there is down to have a good time, drink and be merry. So people should come out, have a good time, and be merry!!!

Hey everybody! Thanks for coming out last night, I had a great time, I know you did because almost everyone stayed for the whole gig! Last nigh we had a total of thirteen teams! Good size crowd. Ya know, I have to admit that having a solid twelve to thirteen teams show up is pretty awesome. But I am never satisfied-I can’t get no...Sattiiissffaction! Cause I tried and I tried and I tried and I triiied. I CAN’T GET NO!! I CAN’T GET NO! NO, NO ,NO, NO! That’s a Stones song if you didn’t know. I was singing it while typing therefore I am digitally caroling. Anywhoser, last night quiz was fair, I think challenging for some, but fair all around. My friends, I mean all of you are my friends, but friends from back in college came and they always sit in front of me. And every time they don’t know an answer to something they shoot me this weird look. Like, “what are you talking about..” My retort to them, don’t get mad if you don’t know! I love them, though. I LOVE YOU ALL. I have to make an announcement: Alley Katz is Hosting the next Harry Potter quiz!! And let me clarify, It’s five bucks per person!! Once again, it’s only FIVE BUCKS PER PERSON! You guys spend more on a bar tab, you can afford to pitch in 5 bucks. The awesome part: WINNER TAKES ALL!!! So there is a cash prize at the end of the night. IT IS GOING DOWN ON SEPTEMBER 11, 2012!! It’s gonna be everything on Harry Potter: movies, books, the cast members, the indirect relatable stuff to the books, movies and cast members, and possibly some naked men boning horsies (Equus is the show where Harry gets naked). Lets get into last nights quiz yeah?

 

One of my favorite rounds of the night was R7 because it was awkward clips from movies and you had to identify which movie they came from. They did the acappella version of Oh Sweet Child of Mine by Guns n’ Roses from Stepbrothers. And they did portion of the boy and the mother starting to sing. My fav part is right when she starts to sing her husband rudely and abruptly looks at her with disgrace and says, “Flat… I can’t even look at you.” If you haven’t seen it, please do because it’s hysterical. CLASSIC.

 

Another round I enjoyed was the Spain round, literally it was everything to do with Spain. They talked about the Alhambra which is in Granda and is beeeaaauuuttiffuull. If you get the chance to visit, go to the Alhambra, it’s huge, gorgeous tile/concrete work, and it’s over a thousand years old. It’s pretty bad ass if you ask me. But I have a feeling, that my college buddies were harassing my friend Steph, because she went to España and worked with kids. But I have a feeling they looked to her to be the end all be all on Spain history….maybe I’m projecting, because that’s what I would do.

 

All in all last night was great fun, good moments with good people, I can’t complain. Remember: SEPTEMBER 11, 2012 HARRY POTTER!! Five dollars per person, making it $35 for a team of 7, math people. Basic math.
