We were back in business. Happy to see new faces and of course familiar faces such as once you pop the fun does stop, Furloughed and loving It as well as Billy in 4C.
Round three was about actors who die onscreen, but it was mostly about True Romance. It seems too many of our attendees haven't seen it. I know it's a Christian Slater film, but it's also an amazing must see film and great for date nights so please add to your lists.
We hit some technical snags with the scoring sheets last night. I'd like to thank the teams for being such good sports about it. Furloughed and Loving it came in first and closely two points behind were Once you Pop the Fun does stop. Chinese Coin Flip took third, just a few points behind.
Thanks again for coming out and we'll see again next week.

We had a sweet evening at the Pourhouse. A bit more intimate evening as there were fewer teams . Fewer teams meant that all the teams won a bonus round making for content teams. One of the players, proved to be noteworthy in the first round bonus question getting the answer to two to the ninth power almost immediately after the question was asked.
Last Week there less love for the Bits and this week less love was shown For Mexico in the viva Mexico round. Folks knew the Mexican Hat Dance, but none of teams got Ricardo Motalban, I guess no Fantasy Island fans were present. Fans of the Frito Banditio were not present either.
It was a close competition with the top three teams throughout, but no tiebreakers were needed as Pourhouse regulars Billy in 4C got top points in the last two rounds taking first place and moving up from last week's second place. Team Norwal came in second place and once you pop the Fun Does Stop took third place, only a point behind.
Thanks to those attended and of course the staff of the Village Pourhouse. We'll see you all next week!

The heat was on yesterday. As in the competition, not the gas heat since it was so nice out.
Happy to see many regulars Last night like teams Schweddy Balls, my cheer team Billy in 4C and the team of many names, this time going by Beyonce's Pig invasion. We also had some newbies as well as a very enthusiastic Birthday party that enjoyed taking pictures and shots among us. They chose not to play since they didn't want to get politically involved, but were still happy to share some answers.
The teams showed their love for anagrams and the late Roger Ebert last night, however less love for the British again this week. Beyonce Pig's invasion ended up winning first place (and many of the bonus questions). Billy in 4C took second and we're surprised to hear this. PTSD took third. Both second and third places prove that the underdogs can cause an upset.(especially when saving the joker for later)
Some waves last night with the sound and the Birthday crew, but the free tacos and spring weather helped make up for it. Lots of love to all the teams and the Pourhouse staff last night.
See you all again next Week!
