Tonight I started the quiz with a few disclosures.  First of all, sorry it was so stupidly hot!  Blame God.  Secondly, yes I'm drinking a white wine spritzer.  It's stupid until you enjoy it and realize how deceptively refreshing they are.   Third, sorry I took off my hoodie and I was in nothing, but a tank top.  It was gross.  I have no excuses for my real life arms.  Other than pizza is good.  Especially when delivered to your apartment.

Despite the heat, we had an awesome turn out tonight with new teams and regs alike!  We enjoyed remembering the Olympics happened, some possibly racist banter regarding Michael Jackson, white wine spritzers, making fun of Debbie, I mean Deborah Gibson, Tiffany, the one singular small fan and a description of the Magic School Bus.  “A Ginger and a lizard kidnap a bunch of multiracial kids…” was funny every time you guys made me re-read it.  Also, so was the phrase, “…moose and beaver kids.”   I’ll grow up.  Someday…

Congratulations to the top three teams, in third, the currently de-throned TRIVIASAURUS REX, in second, ambassadors of a generally good time, THE GOLDEN GLOBS and in first place, the knowers of things to know, vet team PECAN SANDIES!

The quizzing was intense, the wine was winey and damnit was it hot in that bar!  Thank God for our one lone hero of the night, aka the wee fan by the patio.  He is the true hero of heroes.  See you next week geeks and this time, wear some shorts!
