Well, this week Super, Thanks For Asking proved that being my favorite team of the week really does pay off. Their 10-point differential was the largest I've seen in awhile ... there's a dirty joke there, I know it.
Just don't feel up my boyfriend next week, you guys. Otherwise words will be had. And by words I mean I'll be cutting some bitches. Just saying.
ANYWAY.
We had some superstar teams on Round 2, yet again. I mean, seriously. All but one team had at least 11 points on the second round. And yet there were only three jokers utilized. FAIL, Y'ALL.
Speaking of fails, two observations from the evening: 1) some folks really just don't understand the guidance of "alphabetical order," and 2) one team repeatedly spelled the word muscle as muscel in Round 8. Is it any wonder that the team that did that consisted of primarily 21 and 22 year olds?
I weep for the future.
Much like Stella, Caveau got her groove back this week and I think we all felt it. Now that we consistently have a healthy amount of teams, I think our next goal should be to get some non-white people through the doors. I know this will be tough in Denver, but I have faith that a diverse quiz crowd is possible. Right, you guys? RIGHT?
