... too bad you guys suck and couldn't break 90 again, despite an extra 16 point round.

For some reason a few teams decided to stay home this week. I blame Hammer. Or Sports. Or something. Anyhow, it was a quick night, and I have an early morning vocal recording session, so you guys get the short and sweet highlights:

Our first place team Cockward Bound managed four perfect rounds tonight, getting all the way to Round 4 having only missed a single question. Then they tanked the visual round and the final round, just coming in shy of their 90 point three-peat they wanted so bad.

Our second place team Poo On Your Head only got one perfect round but it was the first audio round and they jokered it.

Third place surprisingly went to A.D.A. for their strong performances in rounds 2 and 3, missing just a single question on each. They also only had one perfect round (5). And with just one more point they would have tied for second.

4^th place went to Plan B, who missed out on third by one point as well. They are living proof you can get 3 perfect rounds and still not place in the Top 3, even if those teams did not.

Tied with them for 4^th place was Poodle Sushi, who had two perfect rounds but tanked a few others.

5^th place went to a new team of seasoned players known as Power Word Funk, who managed to stay in second to last place the entire night.

Last but never least is Lucky Stiffs. With a mere 2 players they managed to keep up handily with everyone else, and plan on resuming their spot in the top 3 one of these days. Still, somebody has to be dead last and they usually provide for us.

So this is to the third time doing this being the charm. My adorable infant decided that two hours of her dad's hard work was going to be rewarded by her deleting my lat two really awesome blog posts.

Quiz Pimp was taking a breather, shooting pictures of Linkin Park. He did manage to show himself after all bringing an autographed poster of the band, which was promtly given away as our internet only bonus prize.

The big news from the evening is the first time team 80's Lovers did not come in last despite being late (no round one) and getting a perfect 0 on round five.

As usual we broke 90 points again... and the tie for third place goes to the non penis reference team winning a dance off.

Hopefully this blog post saves as it is the future for all mankind.

Another 90 pointer...

What a cool night! We had a team break 90 (with only three 16 point rounds needed) and a lot of ties throughout the night. Here's your round by round recap:

In Round 1, we had three teams high score a 7, and six teams low score a 5, but no perfect scores to open the night.

In Round 2, we had a few15 pointers, but only one team, Amanda Bynes' Broken Bong, got a 16 AND jokered it. The low score of the round went to Hello? Is It We You're Looking For? with an 8.

For Round 3s timed round a ton of teams confidentially turned their sheets in early. Of course, a lot of them confidentially wrote down “Los Angeles” too. Only one team, Cockward 2: Back In The Habit managed a perfect score, with a few teams tying at a low score of 4.

Round 4 (on Michaels and Meyers) was hit or miss for most of you, with three teams getting perfect scores and two teams only getting a 4.

The visual round gave us four more perfect scores for the evening, including two back-to-back perfect rounds for I Know Right!!! and Hello? Is It We You're Looking For? The low score was a 5, which was shared by at least three teams.

Round 6 (on female athletes) showed us that Babyclaws (with 7 points) is pretty cool with women's sports, and the rest of you (almost universally 2 points across the board) suck. But Ja-rune won the ice luge for answering the bonus question right, so well done there.

Round 7 was worth 16 possible points! And three teams managed to do so, but only Hello? Is It We You're Looking For? was smart enough to joker it.

Finally in our Random Knowledge round Cockward 2: Back In The Habit had a high score of 12 allowing them to take first place, while the team known as Awesome managed a measly 5 points and thus secured their spot as well, in last place.
