Quizmaster Eddie here, coming at ya from an undisclosed location, because if they knew where I was, they’d try to shut me down.

Last night, six teams battled it out for three prizes.  Some were daring and used their joker early in the night.  Some didn’t know their music, so they saved their joker for the last round.  Both strategies seemed to pay off in different ways for different teams.  But, as usual whenever they compete, Just the tip ended up smashing the competition in convincing fashion.  

More interesting was the battle for 2^nd and 3^rd place between Fallopian swim team and Jesus skipped AA.  Swim team had held strong in the second place position most of the night, but Jesus had saved their joker for the final round, and ended up pulling out a late-night rally to leapfrog Swim team for the second place spot and $15 in bar tab. 

Also, interestingly, I got a tip from a quizling that I should move to Pittsburgh to be a teacher.  Low cost of living, fanatical sports following, meat for every meal.  I gotta say, it didn’t sound like a bad idea at the time.  The only problem with doing so – no Geeks who Drink pub quiz.  So for now, I think I’ll stick to Colorado.

For the internet bonus prize, I gave away my very last GWD pint glass to the lucky first-timer Tee from Fallopian swim team.  His new nickname is going to be Too-Tall-Tee with a Too-Tall-pint-glass.  I have decided this.

Also, after watching a commercial for American Gypsies, I came to the conclusion that you need only add the word “American” to any other noun and you have yourself a TV series.
