The Geek in Review Guest Quizmaster Series
This week's GIR was written by Denver's resident robot, Score-O-Matt-ic 9001 Series Quizbot. He hosts every Sunday evening at 7pm at Goosetown Tavern. You may know him better though as the same robot who posts the daily stats on the Geeks Who Drink Facebook page. He's also hellbent on total destruction of the Earth "and New Jersey."

Greetings, humans!  I am one step closer to total world domination by suppressing the Jewish Viking and hacking into the Geek In Review for this week.  Tremble in the format you've grown to love, but in the content you'll come to fear!  The daily stats were not enough.  They were mere digits in the grand scheme of enslaving the human race.  THIS is where the real torture begins, so heed my warning.  Your team names must impress ME, as must your pictures and web-blogs.  I am appeased...for now! 

So, what happened this week?  Ray Bradbury died, ensuing in tasteless team names.  Some dude turned his cat into an helicopter. Venus did the nasty with Earth's Sun.  While all of those things happened, I chose team names based on my specific parameters, and nothing more!  If you create a happiness subroutine in my emoti-chip, then you will serve as the highest slaves in my human army.  So, while you're waiting for enslavement, please enjoy this re-cap from this previous week's quizzes!

--Kansas City: That was fun while it lasted.  Actually as a matter of fact one of my teammates, that guy you kept referring to as "Tebow," may have been almost entirely responsible for your city ranking last week.

--Fort Collins is somehow #1 in the city rankings this week and there was nary a Justice League in sight.

--Austin tumbles all the way to #4 this week.  Did Bobb take a couple nights off this week?

--Meanwhile the rest of Texas took advantage of the situation, as teams from Dallas and Houston made the Top 5.

--All teams in the Top 5 this week scored at least 90 actual points on their quiz, which I don't think I've ever seen before. The #1 team this week, though, had a truly amazing performance--91 points on a quiz where the average score to get podium was 69.  This resulted in an adjusted score that isn't even possible on a regulation quiz.  Hot damn.
