What's up, Snug?! Remember last night? When we quizzed? Yeah, you guys suck at recognizing landmarks in US cities. Nine teams scored zero on the Say When round. Though, perhaps that is partially our fault. Surely the round favors teams who've spent some time in those cities and can recognize the first, more obscure clue then call "Stop!" We apologize for that.
What we don't apologize for is Round 2: "Wine, Women and Song." Do you know how many of you thought "Cracklin' Rose" by Neil Diamond is "Ramblin' Rose"? Too many, that's how many. Though I do get the confusion between Martina McBride and Shania Twain: same level of suckdom. I don't think I could pick Martina McBride and Shania Twain from a line-up, and I say that with an amount of pride.
The visual round, however, was aced by many. Clearly you know mega-banks.
Thunderbuddies 4 Life, which sounds like a pro-life fart team, took first, with The Picadilly Twitz in a close second. I really wish The Picadilly Twatz had been more competitive. And sorta newbies Cockpit Heros took third. (Please come back, Heros. Methinks one of these weeks you can take it.)
Team names worth noting: Crouching Barmaid, Hidden Sausage, 3 Men and a Jugalo, and The Dork Knight. Decent names, but I think we can do better next week. See you then.
