Logan (Goober)

My name's Logan, I'm a mild-mannered 26 working as a software sales engineer by day and quizzing like a madman by night. I live my life to the soundtrack from Brat Pack movies and training montages. I seem to have an unnatural fear of smurfs.

We had a pretty solid little quiz last night. A nice, intimate gathering of friends, romans, and countrymen to brighten up our day with some pub quiz before bed. Let's just give it a little recap, shall we?

Comics & Cons for some reason did not include Tim Allen, a local Denver hero renouned for his coke dealing and ability to grunt on national TV.

The Brady Bunch music round was a little tricky, pullin' out Tiger. Tiger is a good personification of jumping the shark, if not for the actual incident where Fonzie jumped the shark.

Everyone got excited but nobody got the right answer for Flash Gordon. Go watch it - you need more Brian Blessed in your life.

Our weather control round reminded me just how much I hate Mother Nature.

We asked you to match up fictional characters to their military ranks. I always felt that Han Solo, since the force was almost entirely spaceships, should have been an admiral, just like Ackbar.

Round number six required you to know song lyrics, which I just can't do. Mad props to everyone who managed those. Mad. Props.

Then we had our Robert Downey, Jr. audio round. I'd forgotten about his role in Back To School, but the dulcet tones of Rodney Dangerfield brought it all back.

And finally we had random knowledge, as usual. It covered 80s supermodels, Computer Viruses, Chinese Food, and Nazis. Random enough for ya?

Come on back next week for more hot quiz action. Shelley's gonna be back takin' care of you. I'm gonna go keep being sick. Word.
