Tuesdays 7:45p.m. at Jordan's on University and Evans 		Tristan ()

My Quizmaster style can best be described as a mix between an announcer at an NBA basketball game and Brad Neely's Dear Reader: Wizarding People.  Jordan's quizzlings has the propensity for random bouts of karaoke during shitty 90's songs e.g. Ashlee Simpson, and Smashmouth.  I am notorious for leading aforementioned sing alongs.

Following Kentucky Basketball is my full time job, The Avett Brothers are constantly playing in my head, and Swedish Fish, Fried Okra, and Chocolate Milk are the true keys to my heart.

I also have an inexplicable habit of breaking out in dance every time old school BlackEyedPeas songs come on.

A Few Things We Learned Tonight:

We sat next to hilarity in a table… 21 something yr old girls who were clueless… what ensued was gold

The table to the right of us multiplied faster than rabbits in a sack

They could not grasp the concept of pub quiz

Like what is Sonic the Hedgehog?!?

Giving me questions specifically about foreign words is never a good thing

Withdrawl came into this week as 6 time defending champions and they couldn’t stack up to the pressure.  As the saying goes, never call a perfect game before its actually a perfect game.  But on the opposite end of the spectrum, tonight proved to be the ultimate underdog story.  After attending Jordan’s for 3 years, the Dirty Ponies finally took first place honors for the first time.  Congrats to our friends the Dirty Ponies.  It’s My 23rd Birthday aka Withrdawl lost out in a tiebreaker and took second.  And I call my Dick Cheney rounded out the top three.

Apparently the Italian Job was a classic gangster movie?

How Prince got away with top 40 hits with titles written by a 14 yr old’s text messages… we will never know.

Tonight’s quiz was a true horse race with Detox starting strong falling back a bit and racing to the front in the final round to take first. The Detox team has now won 6 straight weeks in a row… will anyone be able to stop this wrecking crew? Mirandize This! Put together a great rally of their own and I Call My Dick Cheney Because I Shoot People in the Face saw their first podium appearance since playing under that team name.

Great night once again at Jordan’s we had a full rambunctious crowd with some old familiar faces returning.  In the end, Better Late than Pregant stole the show with a first place finish.  Maraget Thatcher’s Fuckeulogy barely missed out by one point and took second and Kevin Ware’s Tibia put together an impressive rally to take third.
