Drew played Geeks who Drink on the first night it was ever hosted at McCabe's, which was one of the first places it was ever hosted. This means he's been playing quiz longer than about 30,000 people, of which you are probably one. He was promoted to full quizmaster status in February of 2010 after an extensive vetting process which basically involved actually giving a shit, unlike the 20 or so other candidates. He is a fifth-generation engineer and would like to talk with you about Roman history.

You know what the Olympics haven't got enough of? Dick jokes. Also, hookers. And, if you think you only missed out on one of those if you stayed home last night, well, then, I guess you'll never know, will you?

Also, bagpipe music. And, uh, bad-ass presidents, with an entirely coincidental bonus email prize tie-in.

Also, we really only had one losing team on the night, that being the Well Hungarians. They apparently don't do so well without Anna but I guess she's like teaching middle school or har a doctor's note or some other flimsy excuse not to have been there last night. Well, it's still better than whatever your excuse was. And they didn't even really lose, being the distinguished recipients of the aforementioned entirely coincidental bonus email prize tie-in.

Actually, Unitarian Jihad were kind of losers as well, since they got like 15 points on the audio round and led the pack all evening and then lost it all by a single point there at the end. Yup, way to choke like <insert Olympic joke>. Whee.
