Today is one of those days where I have many things to accomplish, but have no desire to do so. The snow is falling and the house is warm. My Mac and cheese is piping hot and my hangover is now just a dull pain in the frontal lobes as I write this.

Last night was filled once again with brilliance and happiness mixed with Jack and Rockslide brews. All the teams played hard and at the end of the night there was a 3-way tie for 2nd place. Since I was 10 minutes over and a bit flustered by the big tie, I was a bit harsh on our Geek Bowl Squad. In my defense, I asked every team eligible team to write their answer AND their TEAM NAME on the scratch paper. They turned in just the answer and I ousted them from play. Needless to say, they were not happy about it and they sulked in the corner for the rest of the night. I felt bad for about a minute but then I realized that this squad will have a chance to make bookoo dollars this weekend as the travel over the hill to take on 70 other amazing Geek squads! I wish you all the best of luck and I beg of you to listen closely to the quiz master and bring the Western Slope the biggest bragging rights ever!

This quiz could have been the closest yet if it hadn't been for the Len's. They killed it in round #2, taking 30 of the 32 points available for a ride all the way to the winners circle. Very nice for our usual 4th place finishers and GREAT NAME by the way.
