That would have been one classic movie, worthy of many AVN awards and sundries. Eric and I would have movie nights, dedicated to this film, inbetween Parry Gripp segues and heaps of nachos. I would probably even give up giving up drinking if National Velvet was anything I'd like to watch. Oh well, there's always next year.
Some quizzing abound this evening, with a hearty helping of rounds higher on the difficulty scale for most of the teams on hand. Chipping Off the Old Block was mastered by none, and pushing a guy is way easier than knocking a woodchip off his shoulder. Our winning team tonight set a schedule of dominance by taking 15 points and a joker in Round 2's No Metal in Hell challenge. Cheers for the Meat Puppets, and all the joy they bring to us always.
Only team Don't Cry For Me in Argentina aced our multiple choice Round 3, the totally classy Convenience Store Vs. AVN Award Winning Porn Movie. Because sometimes ... Porn is more than just Porn. The scores kept on steady enough until Random Knowledge, which was almost universally tanked. Not one score in the double-digits, and a cloud of malaise surrounded the uncertain leaderboard at the terminus of our quiz. At least we'll always have the Nom Nom Nom song to uplift us in times such as these.
