This evening at Pete's went as smoothly as possible with the overall number of distractions in the political environment. Biden and Palin were in the middle of their madness in Missouri and we were discussing the nuances of the early demise of drug fueled, overweight, comic geniuses.

"The Bar! They took the WHOLE FUCKING BAR!" Farley was great, but Belushi is downright timeless. Debate over.

We had a great collection of regulars this fine suburban evening and everything went smoothly, right up until the end when there was a debate over how and when a joker was played. Strangely enough, Joe from Bail out my Cameltoe was distraught about their eventual 5th place finish. Turns out whether the joker was round 2 or round 8 was completely inconsequential.

After not playing host to their own private gig, hosted by the head geeks themselves, John & Joel, The Evil Newlyweds came in and took control of things at Illegal Pete's.
