Ar Mr. Tramps last night we had a great increase in the number of teams. There were a lot of new and excited faces. I got to the bar a little early with mys sister Ilana so we could enjoy a meal before getting into full blown quiz mode. I had "The Don" sandwhich, which is kind of like bruschetta. I have to say the food at Mr. Tramps is awesome and cheap. So if you haven't been noshin while you are quizzin' you are missing out. My beer of choice this evening was "Old Chub, a Scottish style ale with a whopping 8% alcohol. Drink one of these bad boys and you'' be feeling more riled up than Robert Carlyle's character in Trainspotting.

Round one, entitled "It's official you're a douche". This round held a special place in my heart because I cannot stand assholes who abbreviate words. People who say "convo", "vaca" or "caf" (cafeteria) should have their breeding priviledges revoked. Question number 2 "A small growth of bear under a man's lower lip" with the answer being soul patch, inspired an extra bonus contest. I asked anyone with a soul patch to step to my grading post and present themselves to the crowd. We had to contestants. Carlos had more of a pedophile pirate goatee but it was close enough. Bridgette had a legitimate looking soul patch but I was unaware that one could grow sharpee ink on their face. Carlos one the popular vote and got himself a free beer. The best team name went to "Beep Boop Bop Robot" because I like alliteration.

Both of the audio rounds went without any hiccups and for this I was thankful We had 21 teams and almost all scored fairly competitively. I hope y'all will be back next week and recruit more beer dorks.

Hey y'all
Sam here. Last night was my first night running this shabang and all in things went pretty well. We had nine great teams who ran the gamut from high scoring to well...not so high.

The first six rounds went really smooth and we were making good time until the abortion that was round seven. Apparently I shuffled the tracks and the 'Awful Parody" round turned into a mild disaster. But the teams were patient and adjusted.

Next week things will be a lot sooner and I plan on creating some new "Bonus Beer" activities.

Best question of the night: In round 8 we asked to name the subtitles for Nightmare on Elm Street 2,3,4. Apparently the patrons of Mr. Tramps are not the Freddy fans that I am and only one team was able to correctly answer: Freddy's Revenge, The Dream Warriors and The Dream Master.

Best Round: Round 3 Jizz, Piss and Blood. This could the title of Lucio Felci horror film but it was a series of questions about the lovely bodily fluids.
In the end Better off Ted brought home the gold with the Bukkake Bombers coming in for a strong second.

There's a new sheriff at Mister Tramps, and his name is SAM. You got a glimpse of him tonight, but next week he'll take center stage and quiz your asses til it hurts.

Tonight we had an amazing turn-out! 23 teams experienced the pain and glory of playing the pub quiz. This quiz was tough, and I'm not just saying that to make you feel better. With an entire round dedicated to unbelievable facts, you didn't know which ones were Real or Fake, and with Round 2's This Song's Gonna Kick Your Ass you knew you were in for a rough ride.

You kinda rocked the super-tough visual round Dude, Where's My Carters? and also you did pretty well on the Movie Blog Entry round.

Everyone fought hard til the finish, and only three teams emerged winners. In 1st, This Is Spinal Fat, with 2nd place team Bukkake Bombers a full 9 points behind. Finally, in 3rd, Prolapsers.

Tennis socks, out. Business Socks, in. Champions of the night with a slim three point lead. Sitting close to the Quizmaster has some advantages. Thanks for the constructive criticism. Next time sugar coat it with a shot for the QM.

Viva Espana! Wait a second their Pablo. Spain's Fly did well but just didn't have what it takes to earn a solid finish. They lost the ro-sham-bo sudden death. Lo Siento.

Dude-Brah wouldn't you the Choppy Surf Keeps My Balls In The Water. Probably my favorite team name of the night but that is only going to earn you style points. They washed up in seventh-place.

One team submitted more Geeks Who Drink porno titles than any other team. Partially Derivative was fortified with extra flavor and points. Solid fifth-place finish.

Help me piece together the events of last night.

Let's start with what I do remember,

I remember that the MAGNIFICENT CUNTS won first place and that no one could catch them the entire game. They played like it was varsity try-outs, and guess what kids, you made the team. I also remember that their team name is pronounced KOONTZ.

I also remember that THAT'S NOT HOW YOU PLAY POTATOES jokered their way into second place. alright, I'll bite. How do you play potatoes? And why do I have all these bruises on my arms?

I remember that Menage-A-Tron won the Pantomime Off for third place very successfully. I remember that we could all almost smell the eggs frying. Is that why I woke up facedown in a dagwood sandwich at the seediest of all diners this morning?

A Mic, A Spic, and a Diabetic! I was informed that the spic had already left.

I Hope Ghana Gets Gonorrhea. Yes. And I hope Germany get germs on me. And I hope South Korea get a mouth of corn, eh? And I hope France gets AIDS.

Other things I don't remember: Its hazy. Was there a celebrity or celebrity look alike last night? Was that person perhaps from Twilight? I also threw up later what looked like a party favor. Who had a birthday?
