Another packed and competitive night at the Ballard Loft for The Geeks Who Drink Pub Quiz! Gentleman Johnny was still feeling ill but at least he showed up this time! He was my scorer as I, Jersey Jon, took the mic. The pro and con comments regarding New Jersey came fast and furious this night, most of which were in direct violation of rule number 2 (Don't Fuck with the Quizmaster, He will Cut You).

Regardless we had a great participation rate and people really nailed the songs covered by stringed instruments. I'm so proud of you. Well, not really. I mean, how can I be proud of you when I can't be proud of myself? When did this damn blog become a therapy session?

So, I'm up and getting it done. A great quiz night all around, except for the one girl who yelled "What!?!" after every single gods damned question. Haven't you figured it out yet that I say the question at least twice and possibly even repeat it at the end? Man, everyone NAILED that visual round too, why do so many people know the name of the kid from Twilight?

A busy busy night at the Ballard Loft last night. Gentleman Johnny was out fighting time-traveling Nazis on the dark side of the moon so Scorer Jersey Jon took the reins to auger this bastard right into the ground. I had only one concern: why were there so many children at the Loft last night? Since I have little respect for human larva, I didn't change the way I do anything. I figure it will make them stronger in the long term, kinda like exposing oneself to gradually increasing doses of iocaine powder. I'd bet my life on it. Good vibes all around at the Ballard Loft, the Happiest Quiz on Earth (tm)! We had a birthday in the house, which we celebrated by thinking the happy birthday song (the schedule was a little tight for singing). We had a tie for first place! The sudden death Big Lebowski round was inconclusive (between them, they couldn't guess even one of the zoomed-in teacher comments on Larry Sellers' History paper.
