It doesn't take a huge crowd to get the quiz party rollin' at Coaches and last night we had a perfect crowd for a perfect quiz.
We started things with a round on people with letters for names, more or less. So... more people knew Legally Blonde's Elle Woods than The Great Gatsby's Jay Gatsby. However, less people knew who gave Marcellus Wallace an ass pounding, so I suppose that even things out. And yes, I got to the anal question within three questions of the start of the night. Take that bros at The Library!
Our music round... well, was less a music round and more of a test of will to not climb the walls to rip out the speaker system. Bad YouTube Karaoke is something we've done before, but last night's may have been the best of the worst. So. Bad.
After a quick multiple choice round we came to our official racism round. The questions weren't racist, but man some of your answers were. And answering White Chicks is just offensive to everyone on the planet. Our double or nothing visual followed that and all of you did pretty good on it.
Our Twins and Peaks round proved you all know more about Olsen fashion design than the awesome show or Picabo Street. Then our foreign road trip movie helped prove you know even less about that. (FYI - I hate EuroTrip if nothing than supplying me without Harriet The Spy's Boobs)
Then came our final random round. Castles, Batmans, Sedition, counties, fracking and everything else including the kitchen sink was included, but only two teams could take home gold (actually, one team got a gift card and the other a consolation prize of a to-go box filled with plastic utensils and mayo packets):
Second Place
Vulcanologists
(They wanted to return their prize! Ungrateful jerks!)
First Place

Coaches, once again you surprised me with your awesome. Prior to quiz we had some auditions for our next QM, but since they won't ever be as good as Kent and certainly not ever good as me, why bother talking about them?
Along with the hopefuls, Kent and I weren't the only quizzers in attendance. Sitting hidden amongst you were five other Quizmasters from Indiana, Utah, Washington and here. THEY WERE SPYING ON YOU AND JUDGING YOU. I'd probably do the same.
Tonight we pondered things that happened recently, danced some asses off, forced you to remember who David Spade was, rammed things, learned what's in crack, that juvenile jokes about pot are never not funny, and that some mommas be crazy.
In the end, after all was said and done, and after some jumps in the scores all night long, we found our winners. But first, a special congrats to Lynette on her recent nuptial. MAKE LIKE A BILLION BABIES. A BILLION.

Another awesome night of quiz at Coaches yesterday. Sure, I say that every week but we really did have an awesome night. I had a blast. Why? I'll tell you.
We started with a round dedicated the awesome and now sadly defunct show Cash Cab. If you haven't seen Cash Cab try to catch it before it's gone. Not only do you get an awesome game show (not as awesome as me, mind you), but you get to laugh at stupid drunks who don't know crap. Kinda like how we do at quiz.
Such as during our music round. Never Gonna Give It Up by Rick Astley? No. It's not a song about abstinence. However, if you have this in your make out playlist you'll never get past second base. Sorry Ricky, it's a great song but it won't help anyone get laid. Ever. Unlike REO Mother Effin' Speedwagon, which totally will. And the Temptations. Papa Was a Rolling Stone is like one of the best ever.
As for the best television shows, we realized that yeah, most of network television watching America has horrible taste. Hey, I liked Home Improvement too, but I was also like what? 10. 14? Yeah... at least in a list of horrible dreck like American Idol, CSI, and Survivor there were periods when people did watch good things like Cheers, Seinfeld and E.R.
After a round on searching for answers and identify ships (sorry, S.S. Good E'Nuff wasn't the name of the boat in the Goonies), we moved onto our EGOT round. I don't remember anything other than saying how I'd like Emmy Rossum to touch me. That still holds true in this morning's much more sober state. Emmy, I'm here. Get back to me.
After a quick Rube Goldberg video round and our final random round (with some heckler smack-down inbetween), we still weren't ready to find our winners just yet. We had to have a sudden death round between two teams so full of collective brain juices that I thought I was just going to have a flip a coin to determine the winners. Luckily it didn't come to that. Behold your winners:
Second Place
Jessica Simpson's Baby Name: Jenny Craig
First Place
Hobopacolypse 3: Have Bindle, Will Travel
