Did y'all know that Eurovision was last night? What? Shut up about Eurovision already, Patrick? Um. OK but it's so campy and spectacular. ABBA, Celine Dion, and Tatu all got their start in the contest.

All right. I'll stop now...right after I tell you how excited I was that Round Seven tonight was Swedish bands whose songs were covered poorly. Did you know that Eurovision was hosted in Sweden this year?

Anyway, it was a beautiful night for a quiz. I do so love spending my Saturday nights with y'all on the patio. And it was great having Kelly Kelly back after her two- week hiatus.

Regardless of our aborted dance off, it was still a very close game. Tiny Knuckles edged their way to the top by one point in the end.

I don't often have reservations with parts of the quiz but when I do, I drink Dos XX, er, when I do it's gotta be really gross. Tonight was that time. I think any time we have to ask you, the beloved quizzzer, how often someone said the word "excrement," we have gone too far.

But, I don't write the quizzes, nor do I make the big decisions, so I hosted the round as I was told. I'm so sorry to all of you who ordered brownies during our 2 Girls 1 Cup round.

Anyway, enough about poop. Let's talk quiz! We had a supremely close game last night and going into Round Seven, there was only one point separating the top three teams. Ultimately, Fallopian Boobs edged out Ham and Jam and Spamalot by one point to take home to victory.

So I've had a few growing pains with taking over this quiz. Last night I got all the way to the parking lot before realizing that I had forgotten to bring all of my sound equipment. No big. Becca, our sub Scorekeeper extraordinaire took it all in stride. And the spider that thought my computer was the bee's knees was fun last night. But, I stayed calm and carried on because that's what a professional does, right?

Otherwise, I had a blast. I always do. Though, I do have to say -- and I realize this is a Geeks Who Drink quiz, but whoa -- some of y'all need to work on your drunken pencilmanship. We threw darts to determine whether the answer was correct a couple of times on some of the messier answer sheets. Plural. Multiple.

Becca enjoyed her dirty martinis and I always get my 8-10 servings of fruit with my peach vodka and grapefruit juice. You've gotta stay healthy, kids! I hope the weather stays beautiful like it was last night. I definitely love my job, wherein I get to play my own music, enjoy the outdoors, and yell at people on a mic.

In the end, we had a tie for first between Smash Bang Fusion and Witt-AGE. After a heated sudden-death round, Josh proved that even from afar he will smite you if you mispronounce his last name and Smash Bang Fusion took home the gold, er, $40 off their tab.
