Tonight was a fun quiz. We had a few new teams that joined late. Explaining the quiz to newcomers WHILE the quiz is going on is difficult. There's always a lot of confusion about Round 5, and a misunderstanding about the rules. The new team that sat upstairs handled it all like champs. They were confused sometimes, but did what we said, which is always the right thing to do. The other team... well, they stopped playing once we told them they can't use their phones to look up answers for Round 5.

Sigh.

We also had all the regulars there - Bruce came to visit, but he was shy and a little embarrassed that his team didn't win. Anal Hersheiser and Thesaurus Rex both found themselves lacking when it came to the final standings. BOTH teams were beat by Only here because we've already beaten Diablo III in first place, and 2 Couples and a Couple of Heterosexual Life Partners in second place.

We debuted a new rendition of Africa tonight, but it was so boring that we turned it off. It was all-acoustic, which sounded much cooler in my living room than it did at quiz. Sorry. Chelsea found a punk cover of Africa and we played that also. We'll keep searching for more.

I tried to give this girl a pencil and she totally freaked out. Maybe she was too drunk to understand. Oh well.

Since it rained a bunch we had quiz upstairs. You guys always get real rowdy when it's up there. That's what she said. I think it's because the tables are closer together. And maybe the elevation?

It was a pretty easy quiz, I guess. I mean, Anal Hersheiser blew that shit out of the water. They only missed 8 total points. CRAZY!

Anywho, we are going on vacation and we leave tomorrow. Jealous? You should be. But don't worry, we wouldn't miss a Tuesday quiz. We have to bring you the smooth beats of Toto. We are also going to find more Africa covers for your listening pleasure.

It has been so nice outside lately! It's that special time between Winter and Summer. Some may call it Spring, but in Texas we rarely get seasons. It's usually hot, really hot, and holy balls it's hot.

Carter from Thesaurus Rex kept asking us to play that Carly Rae Jepson song, and I kept denying him. 2 reasons: that song sucks, and we don't have it because of reason number 1. Boom, roasted.

Our regular top 2 teams were all over the score board last night. But thanks to Bobb, neither of them got 1st. Thesaurus Rex came back from being tied in 7th place and Anal Hersheiser went down from being tied to first to being tied for 4th. But it was a tough quiz. Only one team got a perfect on our Round 5 Attack of the D Listers.
