My Jewish grandmother would have been proud of the amount of Yinglish that was occurring at this week’s quiz. You know you’re doing it right when you are reenacting a cat coughing up a hairball; that just means it’s proper pronunciation. Unlike Sarah Palin, I know how to correctly say “choots-puh” and CAN in fact see Russia from my house. Sorry, that’s not true… I’m just kvetching over this meshuga schmendrick. Oy vey.

Things I learned this week:
- Louie Anderson some how is still not dead.
- Apparently just being in the Alps doesn’t mean you get to meet Julie Andrews.
- Some people get REALLY excited when you talk about Lolita. That’s not at all disturbing…
- “Acetylsalicylic acid” is the name of my new band.
- The WNBA always make me smile.

Funny thing about BJs: when they are good, they’re great. But when they’re bad, there still alright. Wait a second, that’s not right at all. The only good BJ is a great BJ, and the only great BJ is Beau Jo’s on Mondays during quiz! That’s the only explanation I can come up with as to why it was so incredibly packed. Either that or my amazing sexiness was making everyone within a two mile radius gravitate towards me to get a better look. Yeah, that sounds about right.

I’m pretty sure playing obnoxious Euro-trash remixes helped too, considering so many of you voiced just how much in love you were with technoized versions of Bryan Adams and Band Aid. Hey, it beats Rihanna any day (even more than Chris Brown).

Things I learned this week:
- Despite seeing every single one of the car models discussed on a weekly basis, people still don’t know who makes them. Unless it’s a Dodge Stratus.
- Nic Cage never played Sherlock Holmes. Yet.
- JJ Abrams has a pretty unique idea of what cold fusion is…
- When discussing boats, one must always end the discussion with “motherfucker”. It is known.
- It’s been far too long since I’ve watched Spaceballs.

I haven’t heard anyone so impassioned about anything since James Van Der Beek was even on the air and still relevant. No, he’s not still relevant, even though you have that adorable poster on your wall that’s been there since high school. It was obvious that your obsession with him hasn’t waned because any time I mentioned a body of water, the immediate response I received was “Dawson’s Creek”. I realize that it WAS quite the quality show, however times have changed and the world has moved on. I know it hurts, but it’s just something you have to do. Let it go. After all, he's no Kelly Kapowski (you're welcome, Colin).

Things I learned this week:
- Nobody knows Bobby Brown. This isn’t much of a problem.
- Not a lot of people know Muse. This IS a problem. Get yourself a ticket to see them with me in September.
- Sweat Bread and Sweatbread are REALLY not the same thing.
- Michael Cera will always be 15 to me, because old Michael Cera is just creepy.
- I totally look like Rivers Cuomo when I’m on the mic. Or rather, I’d like to imagine that I do.
